Heyy Babyy is an indian comedy/drama film directed by Sajid Khan. With a run time of 2hrs 26mins, it starred wonderful and funny actors like Akshay Kumar, Ritesh Deshmukh, Fardeen Khan, Vidya Balan, Boman Irani, Juanna Sanghvi amongst others.
The movie revolves around the lives of three young men Arush, Tammy and Al who lives together. They are carefree, living their lives without restrictions. They party and sleep with different women, until the day they found a baby on their doorstep with a note saying they should take care of the baby without disclosing who exactly the father is amongst the three guys.
The movie took a very hilarious turn from the moment the baby girl was found at the door step as they were thrown into confusion. So in oder to find out whose baby it is they began meeting up with their exes which did not turn out well by the way, because it ended with lots of slaps, insults and rejection. It was during this period they discovered that the lives they had while flirting around was nothing to write home about. To them they felt they were having the best of their lives but to the ladies they were hurt by their actions.
Having a baby (girl) in the house did not only give the guys sleepless nights, it furstrated their daily life. Arush and Eddy lost their jobs while Al lost his bet. It got crazy in the house from preparing the baby food, feeding her, bathing her, cleaning her up when she pooped well that was a very hilarious scene, I was just rolling on the floor with laughter as I watched them try to change her pampers. It didn't end there, the crying of the baby at night made them insane for a moment, you really need to see how they were running around at night to keep the baby shut.
The movie also tried to show the limit of this three guys, when they tried to get rid of the baby. But in the long run the baby got to rub off on them. The movie reveals the charms babies have that just put a smile on someone's face with their cute little self, you can not just help but want to keep them. Seeing the part where the baby mama wanted her baby back, the guys could not let go.
Akshay Kumar, Ritesh Deshmukh, Fardeen Khan performance was very hilarious, they were able to carry the audience along on each scenes. No boring moment, you just want to see how they would survive around the baby, the next scheme they are going to pull which always ends up with you laughing. The baby also deserves credit, I mean she gave it to the guys got hahaha plus she is just so cute you can't help but smile.
I interpret this movie in such a way that shows what women go through in taking care of babies till they are grown. The men might not be able to understand but only a woman would know. I recommend the movie for those looking to see a funny movie with a simple plot, it is worth the watch and it has great ending.
