Una película que vi literalmente cuando se estreno y de la cual tengo una opinión bastante extensa, creo que es culpa de mi memoria que se me olvido por completo hacer mi review de esta película de la que tanto se escucho en Diciembre, realmente creo que lo más llamativo es el elenco, protagonizada con Leonardo DiCaprio y Jennifer Lawrence, con una participación especial de Ariana Grande, debo admitir que este factor fue lo que me llamo la atención para verla, así que en este post voy a hablarles sobre mi opinión sobre esta comedia.
No Miren Arriba, nos cuenta la historia donde dos astrónomos que descubre en sus estudios que en pocos meses un meteorito va a acabar con la Tierra y con ello la vida humana; deciden entonces advertirles a las grandes personalidades del mundo que la humanidad esta en peligro; las personas entraran en caos, otros no creerán y definitivamente es una guerra entre medios de comunicaciones, política y redes sociales contra una realidad completamente peligrosa.
A movie that I literally saw when it was released and of which I have a fairly extensive opinion, I think it is my memory's fault that I completely forgot to do my review of this movie that I heard so much about in December, I really think that the most striking thing is the cast, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence, with a special participation of Ariana Grande, I must admit that this factor was what caught my attention to see it, so in this post I will talk about my opinion on this comedy.
Don't Look Up, tells the story where two astronomers who discover in their studies that in a few months a meteorite will end the Earth and with it human life; then they decide to warn the great personalities of the world that humanity is in danger; people will enter into chaos, others will not believe and it is definitely a war between media, politics and social networks against a completely dangerous reality.

No Miren Arriba realmente no es mi estilo de película porque es una comedia que en primera instancia puede parecer absurdo pero hay tanta realidad en ella que me hizo seguir viéndola. Lo primero que debo decir es que esta es una película donde se observan miles de razones por las cuales la sociedad en la que vivimos ahora se deteriora más y más; y es porque como seres humanos nos hemos convertido en una lucha entre aquellos que tienen el poder y se ven envueltos en el ego y el dinero; contra los que realmente se interesen por entender que le hemos hecho al planeta; esta cinta representa todo esto con una cantidad de parodias y humor que puede resultar insoportable si no son tus gustos.
Como les digo, las comedias con muchas parodias y sátira no suelen ser mi opción preferida para ver pero la manera en que se dirigen los acontemientos y la edición de esta cinta que me hizo seguir con esta historia. La estupidez humana realmente es llevada al extremo, un punto que quizá me hacía ruido pero al analizar completamente bien como las personas toman el fin del mundo entonces puedo ver que esta tan alejada de la realidad. Como lo dije en el principio de este post: visualizamos como puede interesar más sacarle provecho a una horrible situación que resolverla.
Don't Look Up is not really my style of movie because it is a comedy that at first glance may seem absurd but there is so much reality in it that made me keep watching it. The first thing I must say is that this is a movie where you can see thousands of reasons why the society we live in now is deteriorating more and more; and it is because as human beings we have become a struggle between those who have the power and are involved in ego and money; against those who are really interested in understanding what we have done to the planet; this film represents all this with a lot of parodies and humor that can be unbearable if they are not your taste.
As I tell you, comedies with a lot of parodies and satire are not usually my favorite option to watch but the way the events are directed and the editing of this film made me stick with this story. The human stupidity is really taken to the extreme, a point that maybe I was a little bit nervous about but when I take a good look at how people take the end of the world then I can see that it is so far from reality. As I said in the beginning of this post: we visualize how it can be more interesting to take advantage of a horrible situation than to solve it.

En cuanto a los personajes, tengo que decir que realmente muy pocos son los rescatables porque como mencione la estupidez humana es llevada al extremo en esta película, pero debo decir que Kate Dibiasky, no solo fue el personaje con el que más empatice si no que también fue el más elocuente y bien construido desde un principio, a mi parecer uno de los personajes con mayor rebeldía pero determinada personalidad.
Así mismo podemos ver la intención de hacer una burla a la sociedad, el capitalismo, las redes sociales y los gobiernos; realmente un historia donde el director plasmo de la manera más elocuente todas sus ideas. Me pareció bastante inteligente dejar el caos para el final, la verdad el final es algo que movió mis sentimientos, sin embargo si siento que la alargaron demasiado, me hubiese gustado que fuera un poco más corta, ya que llega un momento en la que se vuelve un poco cíclica, aunque rápidamente se recupera con el caos representado.
As for the characters, I have to say that really very few are the redeemable because as I mentioned human stupidity is taken to the extreme in this film, but I must say that Kate Dibiasky, not only was the character with whom I empathized the most but also was the most eloquent and well built from the beginning, in my opinion one of the characters with the most rebellious but determined personality.
We can also see the intention of making a mockery of society, capitalism, social networks and governments; really a story where the director captured in the most eloquent way all his ideas. I thought it was quite intelligent to leave the chaos for the end, the truth is the end is something that moved my feelings, however I feel that it was too long, I would have liked it to be a little shorter, since there comes a time when it becomes a bit cyclical, although it quickly recovers with the chaos represented.

Ahora bien, hablando de mi opinión y un poco de mi reflexión respecto a esta cinta. Debo decir que no era una película que yo esperaba iba a gustarme pero si lo hizo y creo que es principalmente por el mensaje tan claro que manda: como sociedad tenemos tantas dualidades que a veces la estupidez le puede ganar a la razón, que en ocasiones puede ser más importante lucrar con situaciones difíciles que hacerle frente y quizá lo que todos podemos reconocer: la importancia que le damos a la aceptación en redes sociales puede interponerse en problemas realmente serios.
No miren arriba, es una de esas comedia que me han gustado por el mensaje tan claro a comunicar a través de la comedia, además de que creo que fue llevada hacia el lugar indicada para mi gusto. Es una película de la cual se hablo hacia un tiempo atrás pero realmente es una que se puede disfrutar en cualquier época.
Now, speaking of my opinion and a bit of my reflection on this film. I must say that it was not a movie that I expected to like but I did and I think it is mainly because of the clear message it sends: as a society we have so many dualities that sometimes stupidity can win over reason, that sometimes it can be more important to profit from difficult situations than to face them and perhaps what we can all recognize: the importance we give to acceptance in social networks can get in the way of really serious problems.
Don't look up, is one of those comedies that I liked because of the clear message to be communicated through comedy, plus I think it was taken to the right place for my taste. It's a movie that was talked about a while back but it really is one that can be enjoyed at any time.
