La verdad es que las personas que me conocen me dicen que soy una viejita de mente pero mis gustos en películas a veces son un poco infantiles, me encantan las películas animadas, esas que veía cuando era niña, porque creo que transmiten mensajes poderosos en sus tramas.
Sherk es una de esas películas, bueno en realidad son varias pero hablaremos de la saga en general, los mejores mensajes que expresa desde mi punto de vista.
Cuando veo películas infantiles puedo ver en la animación que muchas veces se hacían personajes "perfectos" bajo los estereotipos de aquel momento y Sherk nos demuestra que quien de verdad ama no se fijará en apariencias, y nos verá hermosos aunque para el mundo sea diferente. Ese es el mensaje más poderoso, cuando sale el sol y Fiona toma una figura diferente, Sherk solo puede decir que ella ya es perfecta. Creo que desde mucho antes se venía impulsando el amor verdadero, ese que no mancha ni lástima, si no que construye.
The truth is that people who know me tell me that I am old in mind but my tastes in movies are sometimes a little childish, I love animated movies, those I watched as a child, because I think they convey powerful messages in their plots.
Sherk is one of those movies, well actually there are several but we will talk about the saga in general, the best messages it expresses from my point of view.
When I watch children's movies I can see in the animation that many times "perfect" characters were made under the stereotypes of that time and Sherk shows us that who really loves will not look at appearances, and will see us beautiful even if for the world is different. That is the most powerful message, when the sun rises and Fiona takes a different figure, Sherk can only say that she is already perfect. I believe that true love was being promoted long before, the one that doesn't stain or pity, but builds.

En esta primera entrega también podemos observar como a veces los matices son necesarios en la vida, todo el mundo se alejaba de Sherk porque es un ogro, y como él cree alejar a Burro porque no se supone que tenga amigos. Es así como entendemos que los verdaderos amigos nunca se alejaran de ti por mayores que sean tus barreras y miedos y como se refleja la sociedad en ese momento, una que muchas veces es prejuiciosa y llena de apariencias.
Creo que pocas veces observé relaciones reales en pantalla, y con esa barrera romper Sherk 2 porque nos demuestra que las relaciones no son perfectas, a veces se discute, se llora pero lo importante es nunca dañar a la otra persona si no hablar en pro de resolver las cosas. Que cuando se ama verdaderamente podemos ir en busca de cualquier cosa por mejorar así como Sherk en su desesperación intento tener una poción, sin darse cuenta que ya la tenía: el amor que le tiene a Fiona es su poción. Y no puedo evitar mencionar como el padre de ella estaba dispuesto a todo con tal de conservar las apariencias, pero la verdad es que para su familia él pudiera tomar la forma que fuera y no por eso dejarían de amarlo.
Y por último, Sherk 3 es vencer los Miedos ante las situaciones diferentes de la vida y recordar siempre que no porque hayamos tenido malos padres o una infancia desagradable significa que seremos malas personas siempre podemos elegir ser mejores.

I think I rarely observed real relationships on screen, and with that barrier to break Sherk 2 because it shows us that relationships are not perfect, sometimes you argue, you cry but the important thing is to never hurt the other person if not talk in order to solve things. That when we truly love each other we can go in search of anything to improve ourselves, just as Sherk in his desperation tried to have a potion, without realizing that he already had it: the love he has for Fiona is his potion. And I can't help mentioning how her father was willing to do anything to keep up appearances, but the truth is that for his family he could take any form he wanted and they wouldn't stop loving him for that.
And finally, Sherk 3 is to overcome the Fears before the different situations of life and always remember that not because we had bad parents or an unpleasant childhood means that we will be bad people we can always choose to be better.
