Debo confesarles que cuando mi profesora de Historia de la comunicación nos asigno como tarea ver esta película, me sorprendió nunca haber escuchado de ella, hoy en día me arrepiento de mi ignorancia porque después de ver esta película tu perspectiva sobre el cine y sobre la vida misma cambia por completo; es por ello que a pesar de ser una película que comencé a ver por recomendación académica he decidido traerla a mi blog porque es una película que todos en algún momento tenemos que ver.
Cinema Paradiso, es la historia de Salvatore, un niño que vive en un pequeño pueblo de Italia donde una de las tradiciones más marcadas es el cine; él se encuentra enamorado del cine, lo cree magia; con algunos acontecimientos Alfredo, quien proyectaba las películas del pueblo le va enseñando el arte del cine.... Esta película es la historia de un niño que amo uno de los fenómenos más grandes de la historia: el cine.
I must confess that when my professor of History of Communication assigned us as homework to watch this movie, I was surprised I had never heard of it, today I regret my ignorance because after watching this movie your perspective on cinema and on life itself changes completely; that is why despite being a film that I began to see by academic recommendation I decided to bring it to my blog because it is a movie that everyone at some point we all have to see.
Cinema Paradiso, is the story of Salvatore, a boy who lives in a small town in Italy where one of the most marked traditions is the cinema; he is in love with the cinema, he believes it magic; with some events Alfredo, who projected the films of the town is teaching him the art of cinema .... This film is the story of a boy who loves one of the greatest phenomena in history: cinema.

Dirigida por Giuseppe Tornatore, con una música compuesta por Ennio Morricone e inspirada en Italia, Cinema Paradiso es una película de 1988 que ha resultado ser un gran clásico; debido a que la historia es un perfecto deleite para quien disfruta del cine, debido a que en esta cinta vemos el cine desde sus inicios hasta un momento determinado de la historia. Así como también nos muestra lo transcendental que era el cine como medio de comunicación en aquella época.
Pero Cinema Paradiso no solo es una película que habla de cine, también es una historia que si bien puede parecer lenta en algunas ocasiones esta cargada de sentimientos y de tintes románticos que le dan un plus a una historia tan clásica como esta. Cinema Paradiso también es una historia que muestra los estragos de la familias después de la Segunda Guerra Mundial, la forma en la que las personas estaban avanzando después de momentos tan difíciles.
Cinema Paradiso además esta llena de una nostalgia tan marcada que se impregna desde la actuación hasta la composición musical, que curiosamente estuvo a cargo de una de las figuras más importantes en el cine: Ennnio Morricone. Un dato curioso es que la banda sonora fue elegida incluso antes de comen zar a ver la película, porque fue una referencia al momento de desarrollar las ideas, elegir personajes y llevar al plano las escenas.
Directed by Giuseppe Tornatore, with music composed by Ennio Morricone and inspired by Italy, Cinema Paradiso is a 1988 film that has turned out to be a great classic; because the story is a perfect delight for those who enjoy cinema, since in this film we see cinema from its beginnings to a certain moment in history. It also shows us how transcendental cinema was as a means of communication at that time.
But Cinema Paradiso is not only a film that talks about cinema, it is also a story that although it may seem slow at times is full of feelings and romantic overtones that give a plus to a story as classic as this one. Cinema Paradiso is also a story that shows the ravages of families after World War II, the way in which people were moving forward after such difficult times.
Cinema Paradiso is also full of a nostalgia so marked that it permeates from the acting to the musical composition, which curiously was in charge of one of the most important figures in cinema: Ennnio Morricone. A curious fact is that the soundtrack was chosen even before starting to watch the film, because it was a reference at the time of developing ideas, choosing characters and bringing to the plane the scenes.

Esta es una cinta que nos muestra las diferentes facetas de la vida de Salvatore, cual fue su gran amor, su perdida más dolorosa y como es un personaje que aunque parece tener un gran crecimiento también tiene una parte que se perdió dentro de él a raíz de la nostalgia. Sinceramente la nostalgia es un elemento presente en esta historia, es como volver al pasado y descubrir como era el cine y al mismo tiempo descubrir una historia llena de intensidades que al final traen grandes obras.
Cinema Paradiso, es una película que fue editada en 10 días, que tiene muchos errores a nivel de puesta en escena, esto si lo comparamos con algunos detalles que nos enganchan visualmente en la actualidad; además es una película clásica pero da tanto de ella que incluso aunque no es mi estilo me engancho como para verla una segunda vez.
This is a film that shows us the different facets of Salvatore's life, which was his great love, his most painful loss and how he is a character that although he seems to have a great growth also has a part that was lost within him because of nostalgia. Honestly nostalgia is a present element in this story, it is like going back to the past and discovering what cinema was like and at the same time discovering a story full of intensities that in the end bring great works.
Cinema Paradiso, is a film that was edited in 10 days, that has many errors at the level of staging, this if we compare it with some details that hook us visually today; it is also a classic film but it gives so much of it that even though it is not my style I am hooked enough to see it a second time.

Cinema Paradiso es la enseñanza de que a veces anclarse en la vida nos hace oxidarnos que hay que siempre seguir nuestro rumbo, que hay amores que no se olvidan nunca, es evidente que es una película que nos recalca que no es necesario compartir la misma sangre para ser familia, y para encontrarte en la vida con personas que te protejan con amor y determinación.
La verdad es que pudiera decirle muchos algunos otros detalles pero no quiero dar spoiler porque creo que las personas deben ver esta película, para que podamos recrearnos e informarnos sobre el cine e incluso sobre la vida misma. Ahora entiendo porque revivió el cine español: porque es una declaración de amor al cine y un recordatorio de que nada es para siempre pero que hay fenómenos que marcan la historia.
Cinema Paradiso es la película perfecta para el amante del cine y las películas clásicas; pero también es perfecta para aquellas personas que quieren vivir una serie de sentimientos con un ritmo que si bien ya no esta tan presente; tiene la capacidad de revivir en nosotros la nostalgia del arte, de comunicarse y de sentir.
Cinema Paradiso is the teaching that sometimes anchoring ourselves in life makes us rusty, that we must always follow our course, that there are loves that are never forgotten, it is clear that it is a film that emphasizes that it is not necessary to share the same blood to be family, and to find in life with people who protect you with love and determination.
The truth is that I could tell you many other details but I don't want to give spoilers because I think people should see this movie, so that we can recreate and inform ourselves about cinema and even about life itself. Now I understand why it revived Spanish cinema: because it is a declaration of love to cinema and a reminder that nothing is forever but that there are phenomena that mark history.
Cinema Paradiso is the perfect film for the lover of cinema and classic movies; but it is also perfect for those people who want to live a series of feelings with a rhythm that although it is no longer so present; it has the ability to revive in us the nostalgia of art, to communicate and to feel.
