Greetings cinephiles! After so many Christmas movies, I decided that it was good to change the subject, I think I could not stand any more movies of this style, not because the Grinch lives in me, but to tell the truth, cable TV programming saturates you. Thank God there are streaming services, and we can access other types of content.

Después de tantas películas navideñas decidí que era bueno cambiar el tema, creo que ya no aguantaba más películas de este estilo no porque habite el Grinch en mi, pero al decir verdad la programación de la televisión por cable te satura. Gracias a Dios existen los servicios streaming y podemos acceder a otro tipo de contenido.
My son had been asking me for days to watch the second part of IT together. I am not very assiduous to this type of genre because if I am going to see the blood, I want the plot to be more convincing, but anyway, to please my son I embarked on this adventure.
Although I didn't see the first part of IT. When I read in the cast Jessica Chastain and James McAvoy, I gave it a vote of confidence as I didn't think these actors would accept a weak and meaningless script. However, I was predisposed to the saying "second parts are never good", but at the end of the day, it is already embarked in this commitment hehehehe.
Mi hijo tenía días pidiéndome ver juntos IT la segunda parte. En realidad no soy muy asidua a este tipo de género ya que si voy a ver sangre quiero que la trama sea más convincente, pero en fin para complacer a mi hijo me embarqué en esta aventura.
Aunque no ví la primera parte de IT, al leer en el reparto a Jessica Chastain y James McAvoy le di un voto de confianza ya que no pensé que estos actores aceptaran un guión flojo y sin sentido. Sin embargo estaba predispuesta al dicho que reza "las segundas partes nunca son buenas" pero a final de cuentas ya esta embarcada en este compromiso jejeje.
As many of you may know IT is the adaptation of a novel of the same name by Stephen King published in 1986. Without spoilers, those who have seen the first installment of IT of 2017 know that the plot is based on the story of 7 children who face an entity that lives in the tunnels of the sewers of the city called Pennywise, a character who feeds on children he kidnaps. This evil appears in town every 27 years which in the second installment has already passed... and returns for the "losers", the group of friends, now adults, from the first installment.

Sin ánimos de hacer spoiler, los que han visto la primera entrega de IT de 2017 saben que la trama se basa en la historia de 7 niños que enfrentan a una entidad que vive en los túneles de las alcantarillas de la ciudad llamado Pennywise, un personaje que se alimenta de niños que secuestra. Este ser maligno aparece en el pueblo cada 27 años los cuales en la segunda entrega ya han pasado... y vuelve por los "perdedores", el grupo de amigos, ahora ya adultos, de la primera entrega.

This film has the same director as the first (Andres Muschietti), so there is continuity in the story and takes the opportunity to look deeper into what IT is all about.
Pennywise reappears after 27 years in the town of Derry and the 7 losers, making good on their childhood blood pact, reunite to fight this evil entity once again.
Esta película cuenta con el mismo director de la primera (Andrés Muschietti) así que hay una espcie de continuidad en la historia y aprovecha de escudriñar de forma más profunda qué es IT.
Pennywise vuelve a aparecer después de 27 años en el pueblo de Derry y los 7 perdedores haciendo valer su pacto de sangre realizado en la niñez, se reunen para combatir de nuevo a esta entidad maligna.
The film alternates scenes from the first installment and scenes from this second one, as many of the characters reminisce about their encounters with this terrifying clown. This installment explores the possible origin of Pennywise and a possible spell to end him forever.
Although at the box office it did not gross the same amount as the first installment, I can tell you that it is a movie worth seeing. There is not so much blood everywhere and it thoroughly explores the psyche of each character which will be the key to eliminating Pennywise forever. We will see that the value of friendship will be the central point to face IT.
La película alterna escenas de la primera entrega y escenas de esta segunda, ya que muchos de los personajes remomoran cómo fueron sus encuentros con este aterrador payaso. Esta entrega explora cuál es el posible origen de Pennywise y un posible conjuro para acabar con él para siempre.
Aunque en taquilla no recaudó la misma cantidad que la primera entrega, pero puedo decirles que es una película que vale la pena ver. No hay tanta sangre por todos lados y explora minuciosamente la psique de cada personaje lo cual será la clave para eliminar para siempre a Pennywise. Veremos que el valor de la amistad será el punto central para enfrentar a IT.
MY IMPRESSIONS OF THE MOVIE / MIS IMPRESIONES SOBRE LA PELÍCULA
I think IT CHAPTER TWO was the perfect opportunity to delve into the fears of each character, many of whom lived with them into adulthood. There is a very interesting approach that sometimes is so obvious but hard to see as it is that those shortcomings, traumas, and unresolved fears in childhood can lead to stumbling adult life, and many end up succumbing by taking refuge in addictions, suicide, or becoming a Pennywise, those who enjoy destroying others while feeding their fears.
Creo que IT CHAPTER TWO fue la oportunidad perfecta para ahondar en los miedos de cada personaje, muchos de los cuales convivieron con ellos hasta la edad adulta. Hay un planteamiento muy interesante que a veces es tan obvio pero cuesta ver como lo es que aquellas carencias, traumas y miedos no resueltos en la niñez pueden llevar a una vida adulta con tropiezos y muchos terminar por sucumbir refugiándose en adicciones, suicidio o convirtiéndose en unos Pennywise, aquellos que disfrutan de destruir a otros mientras alimentan sus temores.
To the extent that as adults, we take the time to resolve our inner conflicts, we will be liberated to live a life without limitations. I would like to end this synopsis with the phrase "Beware of the clown that lives inside of you".
En la medida que como adultos tomemos el tiempo de resolver nuestros conflictos internos estaremos liberados para hacer una vida sin limitaciones, por eso me gustaría terminar esta sinopsis con la frase "Ten cuidado con ESO que vive dentro de ti"
