ABOUT
The movie is about a high school basketball team that was always on the loosing side each time they had to play with other teams. Soon after, a new coach who was an ex student of the school was employed by name Carter, who after examining the players, insisted that all the athletes observe good training habits and also get good grades in their classroom studies.
The team was a mix of badly behaved, broken and unconcerned students. The school management cared little if the boys excelled academically 9r would go ahead to make something of their lives after high school. It just wasn't their business. All they wanted was the trophy.
Carter's rules were met with resistance from both the players and the school's management yet he remained unshaken in his resolve and went on to brush them up leaving no room for excuses or lackadaisical attitudes.
He never rested nor have up on them until they got back their verve. And aside the games, he stood in as a father, a friend and a guide to them.

MY THOUGHTS.
I did not get why all of the kids had some sort of life crisis going on. Couldn't there have been someone who had his life on track at least a bit? I quite understand that they were trying to depict lives of kids who grew in the ghetto and were so taken into the wrong lifestyle. But then... Besides that, the movie was brilliant. Great plot, amazing storyline bearing lessons and preaching love, determination and hardwork. Beautiful delivery from the actors.

CINEMATOGRAPHY
Considering how far back the movie was made, I cannot say much of the graphics. It probably would have been the best effect of that time. But still, it was beautiful to see. The sounds were good and scene display was just great.

FINAL THOUGHT/RATING
I was very much a child when I saw this movie and since then, I still cannot get over it. And have grown to be a lover of sports films. Coach Carter wil get and keep you hooked with every scene. You'll live through the characters of the cast. It'll tug at at your emotions and leave you with a bitter yet sweet feeling. You cannot go wrong with this one. It's a classic. So, I'll be giving it a rating of 9/10.

Thank you for gracing this post. Good-day!
