It was great this morning to wake and see that I had received the Movies Badge, it actually showed that I've become part of the community but it also made me feel some guilty conscience because I'm not as active as I should be. This Community is amazing, from the Admins/Mods to the members, every one is so welcoming and not a day goes by without me adding a movie to my list of movies, it feels so good.
For a while now, I decided to go back in time, I really just wanted to enjoy some of the old movies that made my childhood, I started off with Finn and Jake (adventure time), Apocalypto and recently Lilo and stitch. I just wanted to enjoy something a little different from what we're used to today and certainly something free from the regular politics of today and Lilo and stitch was a great pick.
This movie has to be one of the best disney movies of all time alongside mulan, beauty and the beast and a lot of others. But what makes this so enjoyable is that it tells a tale different from the love and princess theme we were used to. This one talks about family, and it tells in a fun and touching way. How would you feel if you found yourself in a world just like that, by yourself, no family, no friends, nothing, you're just there without no purpose, that surely wouldn't sit well with me.
It also gets worse when you lose the ones you love and you're left alone all by yourself in this world to face it's harsh reality. There's so much beauty that comes with having your family around, even if y'all fight and quarrel, at the end of the day you know they'll always be someone there who has your back and who loves you regardless of how you are.
What also resonates with me was how smart the little girl Lilo was, for a six year old she sure did know a lot and as you'll expect for a child that age she had a lot of drama and just the perfect match for Stitch who's character was created and voiced by Chris Sanders. The 2002 Disney movie is quite enjoyable and it comes with a lot of fun and funny moments.
Lilo and stitch
Dr. Jumba Jookiba creates an Experiment 626 after illegally carrying out genetic experimentation, he gets arrested by the Galactic Federation where him and his experiment are to be sentenced and punished. However, before that happens, experiment 626 escapes and crash lands in a planet called earth, Hawaii.
There he meets Nani and Lilo who's parents had died in a crash. Nani struggles to take care of her little sister after their parents passing. She gets threatened of loosing custody of her sister by child support. Lilo gets a break down after her classmates had made her a laughing stock, so to cheer her up, Nani decides to let her adopt a dog. There they meet Experiment 626 who pretends to be a dog in order to escape from Dr Jumba and Pleakley who had been sent to retrieve him.
Lilo takes an immediate liking to him and chooses to adopt him naming him "stitch". Experiment 626 who's been built for destruction finds it had to get used to the new life, he goes about wreaking and destroying every thing he touches but Lilo would not have that. She tries her best to show him that beneath all that harsh demeanor, he has a good heart and deserves to be loved.
Would Lilo be able to convince Stitch to be good? Would Jumba and Pleakley be able to capture stitch? Would stitch be able to find his purpose? Guess you'll have to find that out yourself.
My take on the movie
It's a really entertaining movie and from the moment I started to watch it all my worries were forgotten. It's 82minutes of fun, adventure and everything that encompasses a good animation movie and the voice casts Daveigh Chase and Sanders as the voices of the title characters, and also Tia Carrere, David Ogden Stiers, Kevin McDonald, Ving Rhames, Jason Scott Lee, and Kevin Michael Richardson as the supporting characters were really great.
I particularly enjoyed character Stitch a lot and enjoyed how devious he was. The scene I enjoyed the most was when he spoke to the high commander in the most polite of manners, you should have seen the look on her face. I think the character is well developed and it was fun to see. As for Lilo, there was no way I couldn't love her, she was everything for me, weird, outspoken and still at the same time strong enough to fight for who she loved and she did that really well.
For a graphics that was done since 2002, it was still quite enjoyable, it was done so well that if someone who hadn't seen the movie movie before hears that it's a new Animation, they'll believe, Disney had been going all out to make sure that they actually produced some of the best Animation movies.
There were some flaws in the movie though, some of the fights were so unrealistic and it just made it a bit over-exaggerated but still doesn't change the fact that it's animation. The story is a good one, and I'll surely recommend it to anyone, both old and small, it can also be enjoyed with family so y'all can stregthen that bond that binds all of you together. I'll give it a rating of 9 out of 10.

Fue genial esta mañana despertarme y ver que había recibido la Insignia de Películas, realmente demostró que me he convertido en parte de la comunidad pero también me hizo sentir algo de conciencia culpable porque no soy tan activo como debería. Esta comunidad es increíble, desde los administradores/mods hasta los miembros, todos son tan acogedores y no pasa un día sin que añada una película a mi lista de películas, se siente tan bien.
Desde hace un tiempo, decidí retroceder en el tiempo, realmente sólo quería disfrutar de algunas de las viejas películas que hicieron mi infancia, empecé con Finn y Jake (tiempo de aventura), Apocalypto y recientemente Lilo y puntada. Sólo quería disfrutar de algo un poco diferente a lo que estamos acostumbrados hoy en día y ciertamente algo libre de la política regular de hoy y Lilo y la puntada fue una gran elección.
Esta película tiene que ser una de las mejores películas de disney de todos los tiempos junto a mulan, *la belleza y la bestia " y muchas otras. Pero lo que la hace tan agradable es que cuenta un cuento diferente al tema del amor y la princesa al que estábamos acostumbrados. Este habla de la familia, y lo cuenta de forma divertida y conmovedora. Cómo te sentirías si te encontraras en un mundo así, solo, sin familia, sin amigos, sin nada, estás ahí sin ningún propósito, eso seguro que no me gustaría.
También es peor cuando pierdes a tus seres queridos y te quedas solo en este mundo para enfrentarte a su dura realidad. Hay tanta belleza en tener a tu familia cerca, incluso si os peleáis y discutís, al final del día sabes que siempre habrá alguien que te cubra la espalda y que te quiera independientemente de cómo estés.
Lo que también me impactó fue lo inteligente que era la niña Lilo, para tener seis años seguro que sabía mucho y, como es de esperar para una niña de esa edad, tenía mucho dramatismo y era la pareja perfecta para Stitch, cuyo personaje fue creado y al que puso voz Chris Sanders. La película de Disney de 2002 es bastante agradable y viene con un montón de momentos divertidos y graciosos.
Lilo y Stitch
El Dr. Jumba Jookiba crea un Experimento 626 después de llevar a cabo experimentos genéticos de forma ilegal, es detenido por la Federación Galáctica donde él y su experimento van a ser condenados y castigados. Sin embargo, antes de que eso ocurra, el Experimento 626 escapa y se estrella en un planeta llamado Tierra, Hawái.
Allí conoce a Nani y a Lilo, cuyos padres han muerto en un accidente. Nani se esfuerza por cuidar de su hermana pequeña tras la muerte de sus padres. Se ve amenazada con perder la custodia de su hermana por la manutención de sus hijos. Lilo sufre un colapso después de que sus compañeros de clase la hayan convertido en el hazmerreír, así que para animarla, Nani decide dejarla adoptar un perro. Allí conocen al Experimento 626, que se hace pasar por un perro para escapar del Dr. Jumba y de Pleakley, que han sido enviados para recuperarlo.
Lilo se encariña inmediatamente con él y decide adoptarlo bautizándolo como "puntada". El Experimento 626, que ha sido construido para la destrucción, se tiene que acostumbrar a la nueva vida, y se dedica a destrozar todo lo que toca, pero Lilo no quiere eso. Ella hace todo lo posible por demostrarle que, debajo de ese comportamiento tan duro, tiene un buen corazón y merece ser amado.
¿Podrá Lilo convencer a Stitch de que sea bueno? ¿Podrían Jumba y Pleakley capturar a Stitch? ¿Será Stitch capaz de encontrar su propósito? Supongo que tendrás que descubrirlo tú mismo.
Mi opinión sobre la película
Es una película muy entretenida y desde que empecé a verla se me olvidaron todas las preocupaciones. Son 82 minutos de diversión, aventura y todo lo que engloba una buena película de animación y el reparto de voces de Daveigh Chase y Sanders como las voces de los personajes del título, y también Tia Carrere, David Ogden Stiers, Kevin McDonald, Ving Rhames, Jason Scott Lee y Kevin Michael Richardson como los personajes secundarios fueron realmente geniales.
En particular, me gustó mucho el personaje de Stitch y disfruté de lo retorcido que era. La escena que más disfruté fue cuando se dirigió a la alta comandante de la manera más educada, deberías haber visto la mirada de ella. Creo que el personaje está bien desarrollado y fue divertido verlo. En cuanto a Lilo, no había forma de no quererla, para mí lo era todo, rara, franca y al mismo tiempo lo suficientemente fuerte como para luchar por quien amaba y lo hizo muy bien.
Para una gráfica que se hizo desde el 2002, todavía fue bastante agradable, se hizo tan bien que si alguien que no había visto la película antes escucha que es una nueva Animación, se lo creerá, Disney ha estado haciendo todo lo posible para asegurarse de que realmente produjo algunas de las mejores películas de Animación.
Sin embargo, hay algunos fallos en la película, algunas de las peleas son muy poco realistas y las hacen un poco exageradas, pero eso no cambia el hecho de que sea animación. La historia es buena, y seguramente la recomendaré a cualquiera, tanto a los mayores como a los pequeños, también se puede disfrutar en familia para que podáis estrechar ese vínculo que os une a todos. Le doy una puntuación de 9 sobre 10.
