Hello everyone, it's your girl, @chisom13β€οΈ you're welcome to my blog β€οΈ.

I recently finished watching Kings of Boys: The Return of the King, and I can still feel the goosebumps. Alhaja Eniola Salami, brought to life by the incomparable Sola Sobowale, completely commanded the screen.
This wasn't just a story about politics and crime, it was a story about power, loyalty, betrayal, revenge and the dangerous world of politics. And of course, with Eniola Salami involved, you already know things were never going to be simple π.

Sola Sobowale known as Eniola salami has been known to act in powerful Nigerian Yoruba movies , she also played important roles in movies like shanty town and battle on Buka street...
The movie king of boys is a political movie that tells the story of a woman named Eniola salami, who is deeply rooted in politics and the criminal gang in cooperation with ghetto boys . She is a powerful woman that understands power very well. She knows very well how to manoeuvre her way .
One of her biggest problems is that most people around her were not loyal to her, she still has those who were loyal to her for connection and the power they can get from her. Moving deeper into the story ,let's bear in mind that Eniola was not working behind the scenes and she wanted to come out to the public.
When greed sets in , when someone wants to have more power . Eniola Salami is one of the most interesting characters in this movie. She is not a perfect woman. She is complicated ,she is caring too ,at the same time she is ruthless when she feels she is being attacked.
Her character stood out because she understood the assignment in the environment she was in , knowing that weakness is dangerous and cannot be tolerated, she didn't want to expose her vulnerable side.
Having so much power can build so many enemies for you , The price to pay for power becomes more dangerous. She begins to question her life decisions, her journey in the pursuit of power shows that power can give influence and also make you feel lonely, isolated and scared.
The acting performance is convincing, mostly the confrontational part is very convincing. The other actors are very good and they also passed their lines well, showing their emotions and personality. Eniola's dominates as she is seen in almost all the scenes. All her body languages voice tone, facial expressions and all made her character interesting.
With the help of the supporting characters are also important because they pointed different views to the movie. They provided comic relief, some created tension. Also revealing the personality of Eniola.
In the movie the king of boys is not just about holding a position in the government. Sometimes there are people who are working behind the scenes that seem to have more power than those in their official government setting. In this movie we can see that loyalty, fear, and information are also forms of power. It shows that high ranking individuals cooperate with the government if they have the same interest.
Seeing the movie,we will see how people claim to be loyal when there is a catch . Leaving the audience questioning who is trustworthy and who is not. It's hard to know who loves you when you are in a powerful situation. As it's your closest friends and family that will hurt you.
The costumes , environment, lightening and camera movement in the movie shows luxury and glamour of someone who operates in wealth , politics and danger. The environment shows the elite and the dark sides of Eniola's world.
I really loved the movie because of Eniola's feminine energy. She is powerful and can make decisions under pressure and difficult times.
And that final sceneπ€... When Eniola finally reclaims her identity and declares: βThe skull of an elephant is too massive for a child to carry. No one can seize my crown. Yesterday I was, today I am, and I remain the one to fear. The dreaded one. I am Eniola Salami... KING OF BOYS.β
The political aspect stood out too. The movie king of boys is a very good Nigerian movie and it deserves all the attention it can get.
