Me acuerdo que tenia 6 años, y la trilogía de star wars, se estaba volviendo a estrenar en los cines, era una remasterización, yo para ese momento conocía casi que nada de star wars, eran los años 90 en aquel entonces, mi papa me llevaba al cine la previsora que queda por Sabana grande en la Ciudad de Caracas, no tenia expectativas de nada, para esa edad como muchos niños solo estaba viendo caricaturas, pero cuando comenzó la película, con aquella música épica, mi corazón palpito fuertemente, y sale el titulo del filme, star wars el imperio contraataca, fue un momento importante en mi vida, fue lo que me abrió las puertas a este mundo geek, star wars fue mi primer amor por decirlo de alguna forma, y bueno todavía recuerdo que era tan joven que me quede dormido por un momento, pero no era por que fuera aburrida si no por que la noche anterior casi no había dormido, pero fue por un momento, y todavía tengo recuerdos de esos momentos especiales, esa primera vez que vi esa película, sentando en la sala, comiendo golosinas, mientras quedaba maravillado, viendo a luke luchar, viendo a yoda aparecer, viendo a padre e hijo pelear en aquel momento dramático de confesión que cambiaria todo.
I remember I was 6 years old, and the star wars trilogy was being re-released in theaters, it was a remastering, at that time I knew almost nothing of star wars, it was the 90's at that time, my dad took me to the cinema la previsora that is by Sabana grande in the city of Caracas, I had no expectations of anything, for that age like many children I was only watching cartoons, but when the movie started, with that epic music, my heart beat strongly, and the title of the film comes out, star wars the empire strikes back, it was an important moment in my life, it was what opened the doors to this geek world, star wars was my first love so to speak, and well i still remember that i was so young that i fell asleep for a moment, but it wasn't because it was boring but because the night before i almost didn't sleep, but it was for a moment, and I still have memories of those special moments, that first time I saw that movie, sitting in the living room, eating candy, as I was in awe, watching luke fight, watching yoda appear, watching father and son fight in that dramatic moment of confession that would change everything.
En aquel momento cuando Darth vader le dice a luke que es su padre, para mi fue sorprendente y como en aquel entonces era imposible spoilear a la gente, pude verlo por primera vez sin saber realmente que pasaría, fue algo mágico, ya que he visto en el cine tanto el episodio 5 de star wars como avengers endgame sin spoilearme nada, eso me hace sentir un cinéfilo afortunado, luego de eso que sucedió, bueno vi toda la trilogía de star wars, luego salió el episodio 1 de star wars, cada momento que he vivido con esta franquicia me transporta a mi niñez, no importa si es la nueva trilogía que se que es mala en comparación a la original, pero igualmente me hace sentir que soy un niño de nuevo.
At that moment when Darth vader tells luke that he is his father, for me it was amazing and since at that time it was impossible to spoil people, I could see it for the first time without really knowing what would happen, it was something magical, since I have seen in the cinema both star wars episode 5 and avengers endgame without spoiling anything, that makes me feel like a lucky moviegoer, after that what happened, well i saw the whole star wars trilogy, then star wars episode 1 came out, every moment i have lived with this franchise transports me to my childhood, no matter if it is the new trilogy which i know is bad compared to the original, but it still makes me feel like a kid again.
