Hablar del escuadrón suicida es hablar de dos versiones la primera debuto en los comics en septiembre de 1959 en The Brave and the Bold # 25 y la segunda versión mas moderna saldría en enero de 1987, el equipo en los comics ha tenido un éxito moderado, siendo fácilmente reconocibles pero tampoco los favoritos de los lectores, mas o menos algo que pasaba en los comics con los guardianes de la galaxia por eso justamente warner decidió darle la dirección de esta secuela indirecta de la película del 2016 al director James Gunn y además de eso como productor esta Charles Roven el cual ya tiene experiencia en varias películas de Dc comics, muchos estamos de acuerdo que la película del 2016 fue todo un desastre, era entretenida pero no termino de agradar al publico del todo, pero algo que si brillo fue la excelente elección de Margot Robbie como Harley Quinn, gracias a esto la película tuvo un éxito mas o menos en taquilla, ahora nos llega esta secuela con un mejor sabor, mas refresca y sobre todo dejando en claro por que se llaman el escuadrón suicida, es verdad que en esta película se les trata como personajes incomprendidos pero tampoco se les quita el hecho de que son villanos altamente peligrosos y violentos, la película esta llena de gore, malas palabras, acción a cada momentos, historias crudas, chistes pesados, pero todo eso es lo que los conforma como villanos, y que realmente casi ningún se arrepiente de lo que son o de lo que han hecho, teniendo motivos claros y preciosos.
To talk about the Suicide Squad is to talk about two versions, the first debuted in the comics in September 1959 in The Brave and the Bold # 25 and the second more modern version would come out in January 1987, the team in the comics has had a moderate success, being easily recognizable but not the favorite of the readers, more or less something that happened in the comics with the Guardians of the Galaxy, that's why Warner decided to give the direction of this indirect sequel to the 2016 movie to the director James Gunn and besides that as producer is Charles Roven who already has experience in several DC comics movies, many of us agree that the 2016 movie was a disaster, it was entertaining but did not end up pleasing the public at all, but something that did shine was the excellent choice of Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, thanks to this the movie had a success more or less at the box office, now we get this sequel with a better taste, more refreshing and above all making it clear why they are called the suicide squad, it is true that in this movie they are treated as misunderstood characters but it does not take away the fact that they are highly dangerous and violent villains, the film is full of gore, bad words, action at every moment, crude stories, heavy jokes, but all that is what makes them as villains, and that really almost no one regrets what they are or what they have done, having clear and precious motives.
Algo que tiene en común con guardianes de la galaxia es que el directo James Gunn vuelve a usar la música como hilo conductor para contar todo lo que sucede en la historia, y el reparto entero es excelente, fácilmente vemos la química que hay entre ellos, destacando Idris Elba como Bloodsport, John Cena como Peacemaker el cual tendrá su propia serie en Hbo max, Sylvester Stallone como King Shark, estos nuevos personajes brillan en todo momento sintiéndose bien aprovechados en cada circunstancia, y claro Margot Robbie como Harley Quinn en esta ocasión siento que le dieron mas al clavo con el personaje siendo ingenua, infantil, pervertida, asesina, teniendo todas estas facetas que hacen que el personaje sea lo que es, hay cosas un poco raras en la película una de ellas es que es secuela de todo lo que sucede con el universo de Dc en el cine pero a su ves hay cosas que ignora por completo es algo raro mas no es algo que te impida disfrutar la película, puedo decir que es una de las mejores películas de Dc comics mas no la mejor, este puesto en mi opinión se lo sigue llevando la película de Shazam, pero creo que es un paso en la dirección correcta que Dc tiene que llevar a sus personajes.
