[Spoiler Alert](https://media1.tenor.com/images/9ee53867af6dcb4ee8f67d8a790f7b22/tenor.gif?itemid=8912207)
  1. Cole and Malcolm have a white lock in their hair. The white strand is a deficit of melanin that usually happens to people who are subject to great stress.

  2. When ghosts appear, from the mouth of Cole goes foggy. The explanation given by M. Night Shyamalan that we did not see fog in Cole's mouth when he was with Malcolm, is that this only happened with angry or suffering "ghosts".

  3. Bruce Willis is left-handed but in the film he acts as a right-hander. The reason is that if he wrote with the left, we would notice that he does not wear his wedding ring before his time.

  4. Several scenes were deleted; among them a very long one (6 minutes) in which the child visits an old man, veteran of war, who has been widowed. Cole will help you, since you can see his late wife.

  5. In scenes where there is a cross between the world of the living and that of the dead, Shyamalan always puts some element of red color. The woman who poisoned her stepdaughter is dressed in red, the blanket that covers Malcolm's wife at the farewell scene is red, Cole's mother wears a red sweater at the end of the movie when they drive, the knob on the door to Malcolm's basement is red or the figurine that the child wears has a red cape, for example.

  6. The director, M. Night Shyamalan, makes a cameo in the film playing Dr. Hill, who attends Cole after the birthday party.

  7. The primitive story included a serial killer and Cole spoke with his victims. In the end, the script was focusing on the boy and the killer disappeared from the movie.

  8. The film premiered at E.E.U.U. On August 6, 1999, that day M. Night Shyamalan was 29 years old.

  9. It is one of the only 4 horror films that have been proposed at the Oscars as best film. The others were: The exorcist, Jaws and the Silence of the lambs.

  10. When Cole says the famous phrase "I see dead people," the camera focuses directly on Bruce Willis. Shyamalan was about to eliminate it because he thought he could give the viewer a clue. After the test viewings, he found that it was not like that and the scene remained.
