Yesterday I watched a very interesting Soviet film "His Name was Robert" in 1967. Despite the fact that the film is more than half a century old, it remains interesting and relevant. Of course, the level of special effects can never be compared with modern fantasy films. But the acting is at least not worse.
The film raises quite interesting questions that are still in the category of "fiction":
- artificial intelligence of robots (I will remind, the film of 1967),
- understanding of such concepts as love, jokes, imagery of expressions by artificial machines,
- the government's indifference to people's experiences when it comes to strategically important issues,
- definition of such concepts as love, humanity.
On the 10th rating scale, I would give the film a score of 6.5-7. Is it worth the time you spent watching the movie? A very difficult question that cannot be answered. Everyone will have their own answer. Personally, I do not regret watching this movie. Especially since thanks to him, I wrote this message.
