Midsommar movie

Not an ordinary horror movie. What director Ari Aster makes in his films has to do with the world of nightmares, not the world of horror cinema, and there is a difference, the nightmare is from you and you, it works slowly penetrate your being. Horror is a fleeting state whose shock is mostly superficial. Aster films make hates it and yet admires, a strange equation. In Midsommar a nightmare of revenge for a woman from her "lover" for fear of falling into the void and into the arms of loss and loss again. Not better than Hereditary but it has a stature and presence.
