The Whale, the latest film by director Darren Aronofsky, is a single painting with many dramatic colors.
Story: The work is based on a play. A lonely English teacher who is morbidly obese and tries to reconnect with his teenage daughter in hopes of getting one last chance in life to fix everything.
The whole film can be distinguished from the point of view of the acting represented by the hero Brendan Fraser, and yet the state of the film can penetrate you minute by minute, and this is because Aronofsky is not the one who makes the themes, but his vision and always a different approach to the same subject. Perhaps the best thing about the movie is that all the characters have been let down by life in one way or another. Each of them dealt with this letdown in a way similar to each other but in different ways, such as addiction to alcohol or even eating..or not caring about people or caring for them more than necessary..... The film is full and rich between its pages and presented in a smooth but profound narrative manner.
A purely dramatic experience in a novel way with great acting capabilities.
