The movie tells of a story that in the 19th century, a group of female warriors protects the African kingdom of Dahomey unlike anything the world has ever seen. Faced with a new threat, General Nanisca trains the next generation of recruits to fight against a foreign enemy determined to complete slavery in its usual form after the king declares its cessation after persuasion from General Nanisca. The film depicts the time period in a very impressive way, and it can connect you to the ancient civilization of Africa and change it after learning about the outside world and how they faced this.
The general story is taken from real events. This group was really present and you can feel that the group of warriors in Wakanda (in the movie Black Panther) are very drawn from and influenced by this civilization. The movie, the drama, is very nice, but I felt that the dialogue contained a few clichés that could have been better than this. But the idea of transferring the image in a way that makes you feel that you are living with them in this simple and complex kingdom was a very beautiful experience.

Of course, I can not forget the roles of the supporting actresses. The main role was Nawi, and she was remarkably professional. The film's flaws are very simple, so you can say it's complete movie.
The biggest flaw that I can comment on is the dialogue. It could have been better than this in a lot of the movie, but in general it will not disappoint you.
