Beginning

For a while now I've been more interested in action films. I think it's about vital activities, sometimes emotional, sometimes sci-fi and sometimes action. Now I'm in my action phase. lol.

Especially action films with exaggerated scenes attract me more because I think exaggeration suits action. This thought took me to the Unleashed film released in 2005 today.

Desde hace un tiempo me interesan más las películas de acción. Creo que se trata de actividades vitales, a veces emocionales, a veces de ciencia ficción y a veces de acción. Ahora estoy en mi fase de acción. lol.

Especialmente las películas de acción con escenas exageradas me atraen más porque creo que la exageración le viene bien a la acción. Este pensamiento me ha llevado hoy a la película Unleashed, estrenada en 2005.

Subject of the film

Danny (played by Jet Li), whose mother was murdered and locked in a cell when he was a child, is raised like a dog for 30 years with a leash around his neck. Like a dog, he attacks the moment the leash is removed and the command is given, and does not stop until he fulfils his mission as a killing machine, which is the purpose of his upbringing. As a requirement of his upbringing, he fulfils his owner's command only when the leash is removed, and does not react even if his owner is attacked while the leash is around his neck. Of course, Danny's owner Bart (played by Bob Hoskins) uses him to serve his own interests.

Oddities of the Film

The strangest scenes of the film were when Danny was on the leash, he was a complete ornamental dog, and when he was off the leash, he was an aggressive and rambunctious Bulldog. It shouldn't be very difficult to take someone at an age when they can't remember their past and raise them for their own purposes, but the contradiction between the moments when the leash was in place and when it was not was a situation that even the breeder found strange.

Las escenas más extrañas de la película eran cuando Danny estaba con la correa, era un perro completamente ornamental, y cuando estaba sin la correa, era un Bulldog agresivo y alborotado. Reflections during the viewing of the film

I thought that I found what I was looking for during the time I watched the film because it was full of scenes where the action was at its peak. Action and especially exaggerated action scenes were the features that made the duration of the film flow fast. As a subject, it may seem extreme to some, but it had an acceptable subject for me and I liked the film.

La acción y sobre todo las escenas de acción exageradas fueron las características que hicieron que la duración de la película fluyera rápidamente. Como tema, puede parecer extremo para algunos, pero para mí tenía un tema aceptable y la película me gustó.

Feelings and traces left behind by the film

Danny's effort to learn about his past and his mother upon a thought about his mother was the only drama scene of the action film. Leaving the past behind and trying to start a life from scratch always ends in frustration because the past haunts us. When the past does not let go of us, it can also be perceived as a reaction to the past. The character of Sam (played by Morgan Freeman), one of the best actors in the film, was the actor who performed his role best in terms of offering Danny a new life and teaching him that he had a choice. The most important trace he left is the fact that unfortunately the past will not be as it is told to us.

Sentimientos y huellas que deja la película

El esfuerzo de Danny por conocer su pasado y a su madre al pensar en ella fue la única escena dramática de la película de acción. Dejar atrás el pasado e intentar empezar una vida desde cero siempre acaba en frustración porque el pasado nos persigue. Cuando el pasado no nos deja ir, también puede percibirse como una reacción al pasado. El personaje de Sam (interpretado por Morgan Freeman), uno de los mejores actores de la película, fue el que mejor interpretó su papel para ofrecer a Danny una nueva vida y enseñarle que podía elegir. La huella más importante que dejó es el hecho de que, por desgracia, el pasado no será como nos lo cuentan.

Thoughts after the film and recommendation to watch/not to watch

I think my passion for action films will continue for a while and then I will probably move on to films about stillness, drama or real life. Probably my mood at that moment will have an effect on the genre I will watch. Doing some things without planning and going with the flow can offer us the opportunity to see the good films we missed. I think the film Unleashed is one of them. If it is evaluated as a genre, I am sure that many people will think that the film does justice to its genre. However, there will be different opinions and criticisms in general evaluation instead of genre. Anyway, when new additions are made to the box, the probability of winning by chance decreases. When you digest the subject of the film with your mind, you should definitely watch the film and I am sure you will enjoy it while watching. But if you underestimate the subject and see it absurd, there is no need to watch the film. I find absurdities and exaggerations suitable for action films, so it will remain a successful production for me. Morgan Freeman was my favourite actor throughout the film.

Reflexiones tras la película y recomendación de ver/no ver

Creo que mi pasión por las películas de acción continuará durante un tiempo y luego probablemente me decantaré por películas sobre la quietud, el drama o la vida real. Probablemente mi estado de ánimo en ese momento influya en el género que veré. Hacer algunas cosas sin planificar e ir con la corriente puede ofrecernos la oportunidad de ver las buenas películas que nos perdimos. Creo que la película Unleashed es una de ellas. Si se evalúa como género, estoy seguro de que mucha gente pensará que la película hace justicia a su género. Sin embargo, habrá diferentes opiniones y críticas en la evaluación general en lugar del género. De todos modos, cuando se hacen nuevas incorporaciones a la caja, la probabilidad de ganar por azar disminuye. Cuando digan el tema de la película con su mente, definitivamente deben ver la película y estoy seguro de que la disfrutarán mientras la ven. Pero si subestimas el tema y lo ves absurdo, no hace falta que veas la película. Los absurdos y las exageraciones me parecen adecuados para las películas de acción, así que para mí seguirá siendo una producción exitosa. Morgan Freeman fue mi actor favorito durante toda la película.
