This brings us to the release of The Love Hypothesis—based on a novel—which features a unique premise: a scientist who ends up faking a relationship with a young man. While this sort of situation might be frowned upon or spark controversy today, the dynamic shifts; what begins as a joke evolves into something much greater—and an experiment that becomes the talk of the town.
A lo largo de los años se han estrenado una gran cantidad de películas que tienen que ver como el amor y para nadie es un secreto que es una de las etapas más bonitas que puede llegar a experimentar el ser humanos, por eso este tipo de historia hace que uno como espectador se quedó enganchado desde el primer momento y a la vez darse cuenta de que el amo llega en el momento indicado. Por eso se estrenó La hipótesis del amor, la cual esta basas en una novela, donde la historia es única, ya que nos presenta a un científico, que termina fingiendo una relación con joven, algo que seguramente hoy en día puede llegar a ser mal visto, puede generar discusiones, sin embargo, todo va cambiando y lo que era una broma termina siendo algo mucho más grande, además un experimento que dejará de que hablar.

The story unfolds beautifully at a measured pace, allowing each scene to develop fully, though it does include some predictable moments typical of this kind of romance. It follows a classic narrative arc: a fake relationship, protagonists who seemingly can't stand each other, romantic tension, misunderstandings, and—inevitably—the moment they must drop the charade and confront their true feelings, as constant proximity fosters a connection that deepens into something more. Ultimately, the film strives to offer something unique and fun, standing out by blending science and academia with a love story.
Una de las cosas que hace que la película se sienta muy real y a la vez divertida son los personajes, ya que está la chica que demuestra tener todo bajo control, pero que también tiene dudas, inseguridades y momentos terribles, y más aún en esa etapa del amor. Por otro lado, está el profesor que siempre refleja seriedad, distante y con un grupo muy poco de personas, pero detrás de ese papel es una persona que también tiene sentimientos y aquí en la película resalta que detrás de cada fachada hay mucho más que contar, por lo tanto, es química va creciendo y nos lleva a preguntarnos ¿Podrán durar tiempo? ¿Será una prueba o amor de verdad?
La historia va avanzando dela mejor manera, con un ritmo controlado, logrando que cada escena se desarrolle, pero también tiene sus momentos predecible, típico de esa etapa del amor. Además, esta película mantiene una secuencia comenzada desde la relación falsa, los protagonistas que aparentemente no se soportan, la tensión romántica, los malentendidos y, por supuesto, ese momento en el que ambos tienen que dejar de fingir y enfrentarse a lo que realmente sienten, puesto que estar todo el tiempo con una persona se va creando una relación que puede ir más allá. Por eso la película busca crear algo distinto, que sea divertido, además al combinar ciencia, carrera universitaria con amor hace que sea única.
It is a fairly short film, as the story manages to convey everything directly—blending love and humor—while showing us that age is no barrier to love and that one can be with whomever they like and whoever makes them feel secure in the relationship. Beyond that, the film suggests that perhaps the real experiment wasn't discovering whether the two young people could fall in love, but rather discovering how long it would take us to fall in love with the story itself.
Esta es una película bastante corta, ya que la historia logra transmitir todo directamente, donde tiene amor, comedia, humor y a la vez presentarnos que para el amor no hay edad y uno puede estar con quien le guste y le da esa seguridad en dicha relación. Más allá de eso la película muestra quizá el verdadero experimento no era descubrir si ambos jóvenes podían enamorarse, sino que descubrir cuánto tardábamos nosotros en enamorarnos de esta historia.
