Cuenta la historia de Amber una adolescente que lo ha perdido prácticamente todo en la vida y que vive con su mamá en un autobús ocultando a todos su realidad, pero que cuando tienes convicción, eres de buen corazón y trabajas duro por lograr tus metas, la vida te abre las puertas a cosas maravillosas, aunque a veces creas que no lo merezcas.
It tells the story of Amber, a teenager who has lost practically everything in life and who lives with her mother on a bus hiding her reality from everyone, but when you have conviction, are good-hearted and work hard to achieve your goals, life opens doors to wonderful things, even if sometimes you think you don't deserve them.

Esta es una historia que puedes disfrutar tranquilamente en familia y que te invita a la reflexión, aunque no es una producción que nos muestra algo novedoso y diferente les puedo decir que es una película bien trabajada, tal vez es cierto que esta llena de muchas escenas clichés que ya hemos visto en el pasado, pero déjame contarte que fue lo que me encanto de ella.
This is a story that you can enjoy quietly with your family and that invites you to reflection, although it is not a production that shows us something new and different I can tell you that it is a well crafted film, perhaps it is true that it is full of many cliché scenes that we have already seen in the past, but let me tell you what I loved about it.
Lo primero que llamo mi atención fue ver a Amber con su mamá y su pequeño perrito viviendo en un autobús escolar, pensaras que es una locura pero si, esto en realidad pasa mucho en los Estados Unidos y me recordó a un documental que vi de personas durmiendo en sus autos porque no tenían dinero suficiente para pagar un alquiler, pero que te pasa por la mente cuando hay niños o jovenes viviendo esta situación tan triste y lamentable, sí, lo se, que es una completa locura y no debería suceder, pero pasa.
The first thing that caught my attention was to see Amber with her mom and her little dog living in a school bus, you might think it's crazy but yes, this actually happens a lot in the United States and it reminded me of a documentary I saw about people sleeping in their cars because they didn't have enough money to pay a rent, but what goes through your mind when there are children or young people living this sad and unfortunate situation, yes, I know, it's completely crazy and it shouldn't happen, but it does.
Lo segundo fue ver el talento para el canto que tenia Amber, un talento heredado de su padre quien falleció hace algún tiempo y además el notable carisma que se gastaba tanto el personaje como la actriz, porque te preguntas como un joven viviendo esta situación puede mostrarse ante los demás y sus amigos tan feliz como si no le ocurriera nada malo, una chica que trabajaba los fines de semanas a cambio de una miseria de sueldo, daba clases de ingles gratis y además era voluntaria en un ancianato y siempre con una hermosa sonrisa en el rostro.
The second thing was to see the talent for singing that Amber had, a talent inherited from her father who passed away some time ago and also the remarkable charisma that both the character and the actress had, because you wonder how a young person living in this situation can show herself to others and her friends as happy as if nothing bad happened to her, a girl who worked on weekends for a pittance of a salary, gave free English classes and also volunteered in an old people's home and always with a beautiful smile on her face.
No quiero decir mucho más para no contar toda la historia, pero luego en la vida de Amber ocurren cosas dolorosas que tal vez para muchos seria una invitación a perder la esperanza en la vida, pero que Amber busca por si misma la forma de salir adelante, cumplir su sueño a pesar de las adversidades aunque para ella todo esto se le haga cuesta arriba y deba lidiar con todo sola sin querer aceptar la ayuda de nadie o por lo menos no de quienes a ella siempre ha estado dispuesta ayudar sin esperar nada a cambio.
I do not want to say much more not to tell the whole story, but then in Amber's life painful things happen that perhaps for many would be an invitation to lose hope in life, but Amber seeks for herself the way to get ahead, fulfill her dream despite the adversities although for her all this is uphill and she must deal with everything alone without wanting to accept help from anyone or at least not from those who she has always been willing to help without expecting anything in return.
Tal vez muchas escenas las podemos predecir y saber que pasará al final, pero eso no le quita el crédito a lo emotivo que resulta ser esta historia, en muchas partes sientes ganas de abrazar a Amber y decirle que todo estará bien, porque esta producción nos invita a reflexionar como seres humanos y analizar todo lo que nosotros estamos haciendo por los demás ¿Cuánto hacemos por los demás sin esperar nada a cambio o por si el contrario no estamos haciendo nada?.
Perhaps many scenes we can predict and know what will happen at the end, but that does not take away the credit to how emotional this story turns out to be, in many parts you feel like hugging Amber and tell her that everything will be okay, because this production invites us to reflect as human beings and analyze everything we are doing for others. How much we do for others without expecting anything in return or on the contrary we are doing nothing?
Amber es ese vivo recordatorio de lo que todos deberíamos hacer por el prójimo sin esperar recibir algo a cambio, solo por el simple hecho de hacer feliz a alguien con pequeños gestos y detalles, porque eso al final del día es lo que te genera una enorme satisfacción personal y sin que te des cuenta el universo conspira o Dios como lo quieran llamar, para que se te regrese de maneras misteriosas.
Amber is that vivid reminder of what we should all do for others without expecting to receive something in return, just for the simple fact of making someone happy with small gestures and details, because at the end of the day that is what generates a huge personal satisfaction and without you realizing it the universe conspires or God as you want to call it, to come back to you in mysterious ways.
Y realmente me sentí identificada en muchos momentos con Amber, porque pienso que siempre he tenido la bendición de estar rodeada de pequeños ángeles y seres humanos nobles, algo que aprendí de mis padres fue hacer siempre una buena amiga y ayudar siempre que puedas, porque de eso se trata la vida, y a veces te sientes afortunada cuando la vida te recompensa y si, sientes que no lo mereces, pero cuando reflexionas te das cuenta que cada acción que haces en la vida tiene su reacción, porque todo va a depender de tus acciones, como dice el dicho cosechas lo que siembras.
And I really felt identified in many moments with Amber, because I think I have always been blessed to be surrounded by little angels and noble human beings, something I learned from my parents was to always make a good friend and help whenever you can, because that's what life is all about, and sometimes you feel lucky when life rewards you and yes, you feel you don't deserve it, but when you reflect you realize that every action you do in life has its reaction, because everything will depend on your actions, as the saying goes you reap what you sow.
No se trata de que hagas las cosas con un interés de por medio, sino que todo fluya de manera natural en tu vida, que todo te salga del corazón y puedo decir que yo he visto eso en la vida real, eso que le paso a Amber son cosas de las que he sido testigo muchas veces y que si, que en realidad si pasa cuando obras de buen corazón y eso es lo que sucede con Amber en esta historia tan emotiva. Por eso es importante decir, que la esperanza es lo ultimo que se pierde, aún en los momentos más oscuros de tu vida, por lo que es una producción sencilla, emotiva, que vale la pena ver.
