These pandemic days have caused a lot of delays in the release date of new movies but luckily, streaming services such as Netflix or, in this particular case, Apple TV+ have been able to bring new movies into the market.
Greyhound wasn't originally a movie financed by Apple but they purchased the rights to it and made it available on their streaming platform. The main actor is Tom Hanks who always gives excellent performances and is a pleasure to watch.
The story is about some allied ships passing through a dangerous zone of the Atlantic sea where they have no air cover and are at the mercy of Nazi submarines. Their goal is to reach British coasts but in order to achieve that goal, they would have to survive hell in water.

Tom Hanks plays the main captain, he is aboard the ship called Greyhound but is also the Commander of all the allied destroyers. For several days they would have to make crazy maneuvers in order to avoid being hit by Nazi torpedos and also destroy the Nazi submarines. Suffering some losses will be inevitable.
The only well-known actor was Tom Hanks and he does a good job in his role but this isn't a surprise. There are good shots with interesting angles throughout the film, and even though I have seen better battles in other films, these ones were all right.
If you like war movies based on real-life battles you should definitely watch this one. I do believe the plot was very simple and its level of epicness wasn't really super high, but the film is of good quality and entertaining nonetheless.

The best
- Entertaining and well-done war movie.
The worst
- It should have been more intense and epic.
