Do you remember the "that would be great meme"? Well, it comes from one of the characters of this movie. I wasn't aware of this but while I was watching the movie I had the feeling I have already seen that guy with that exact look.
The story is about the lives of 3 friends that work in some kind of software company that develops financial tools. They work in that typical massive office space where people have their own cubicle, the same type of office space where Neo worked before realizing he was living in the Matrix. None of them are happy with their job, and one of them is very frustrated because his life is a mess. Eventually, they will find a way to solve all the injustices they believe they are a victim of.
Besides these 3 friends who work together, we also have a pretty waitress played by Jennifer Aniston who works in a nearby restaurant. She isn't happy with her job either. Although this actress is the most popular one of the cast, her character isn't the main one in the movie.

In this office space, we will see several types of characters, there will be an annoying boss that pretends to be gentle, the weird loner who everyone ignores, the managers who don't know how the massive office is being run, among many other well-designed characters.
A more recent movie with a similar topic would be Horrible Bosses from 2011, which coincidentally also has Jennifer Aniston as one of the main characters, only this time she is one of the abusing bosses. This more recent movie has a more explosive and straight to the point humor, Office Space, on the other hand, is much more subtle and reserved.
If you are looking for a light and funny comedy to watch, this is an excellent choice. It is from the late 90s so there will be some things that are hard to relate to but it is still a very funny movie with cool performances!

The best
- Fun movie.
- Good and likable characters.
The worst
- The context of the story isn't relatable in today's era.
