This is a series that I have mentioned many times in previous articles. As some of you will know, Black Mirror is one of my favorite series of all time, and it's quite special because each episode is about unique stories including future technology and how it might affect our lives.
The last season they released in the middle of this year wasn't so good in my opinion, but the amount of unique stories that have created for this series during all these years is certainly one of the greatest collections ever for the science fiction genre.
Besides, there are special episodes such as White Christmas, which is like a movie thanks to its extended length, and the famous Bandersnatch from last year that turned out to be the first interactive episode. This means the audience can interact with the story in a similar way to when we play RPGs, the user can choose between different options in some key moments of the episode, which allows us to explore different possibilities and different endings. This is the trailer and who knows, hopefully for this Christmas Netflix gives us something similar to what they did last year: D
It is clear that Black Mirror is something special that have earned admiration in not only science fiction lovers but also in lovers of good stories in general. To my surprise, I recently discovered that there were some mini-projects that, in collaboration with Netflix, tried to emulate the essence of Black Mirror but on a smaller scale. I present the Polish Black Mirror called Czarne Lusterko:

This Black Mirror spin-off is a much smaller production but to a certain extent, it closely resembles the style of the original series. These episodes can be enjoyed for free on YouTube because they were created by Polish Youtubers in collaboration with Netflix. There are 4 episodes in total and anyone can find them by searching for "Czarne Lusterko" on YouTube, all of them come with their corresponding subtitles.
For those who don't know Black Mirror and begin to see its "lite" version from Poland, they should know that Black Mirror is a much larger production with deeper and better elaborated stories. The Polish production I think is for Black Mirror fans so we have a little more content to enjoy.
Of the 4 episodes, the only one I didn't enjoy was the one called "ROZSTANIE", I didn't think it had anything futuristic but rather it was like a criticism of everything that has to do with current social platforms and how some people get obsessed with them. The other 3 episodes called "1%", "69.90" and "Suma szczęścia" were quite good and they certainly pay tribute to the original Black Mirror brand.
I highly recommend this Black Mirror "lite" and the best thing, as I said, is that it is free on YouTube.
Finally and as a related note, there is another Black Mirror "lite" that is even smaller than the Polish production, called Stories From Our Future and it is also available on YouTube. These are 3 episodes without dialogue. Of the 3 episodes, there is one that was incredibly boring for me called "The Healthy Alternative." The other 2 episodes called "Cure for Loneliness" and "Getting to Know You" were quite good.
