Yesterday I watched this Indonesian film mainly because of its good reviews on several sites. Sometimes there are little gems from countries that don't produce too many movies, and I was expecting to watch something different and an interesting take on the action genre.
This movie is Indonesian and the basic premise is about a SWAT team that is tasked with taking down a criminal group that owns an entire building and uses it as its operation center. The only way to destroy these criminals is by assaulting the building and exterminate them by force.
This is a pure action movie where the dialogue isn't that important, it focuses on a lot of scenes with tons of shooting and bullets flying around, and several fighting scenes with a lot of Jackie Chan moves.
The setting is quite scary because the entire building has security cameras controlled by the head of this criminal group, which means they have a clear advantage over the SWAP team. Besides, they have watchmen guarding the inside of the building which makes it even harder to do a stealth assault.
The acting is all right, although being a hardcore action movie it is hard to judge the real quality of the actors, most of the time they are fighting the criminals or searching where to hide from the crazy mob that inhabits this place.
There are some crude scenes but this is expected given the fact we are dealing with horrible criminals fighting for their lives against the police. The type of people that will certainly enjoy this movie are those looking for a lot of fighting scenes, and a full-blown battle inside a big building. This movie has little else to offer but as an action film, it was quite nice with cool scenes and little twists that were all right.

The best
- Good action scenes that can be quite intense.
- Fights that resemble those from Jackie Chan characters.
The worst
- Some decisions from criminals cannot be understood, such as putting their lives at risk instead of going the easy way.
- The reasons for this assault aren't explained. There are some dialogues in the movie hinting about dark reasons from the police. I hope this is explored and explained in the second movie.
