I wasn't expecting this documentary to be like this. I was hoping to see another crazy documentary like the one called "Don't F**k with Cats", which was also produced by Netflix and the topic was about a psychopath that began to torture cats on camera for the internet and ends up killing an actual person.
Tiger King was extremely different. In fact, for anyone who doesn't read the topic and has watched the documentary let's say until the episode 5, I bet this person wouldn't be able to know the specific topic of this production.
Sometimes it looks like a crime documentary, other times like a biographical one full of drama about a crazy tiger lover, the documentary is very messy and it ended up frustrating me because it included so much different stuff that really seemed like the producers simply decided to include so much useless information for the simple goal of having content to produce more episodes.

The main person in this documentary is a very exotic guy who owned his own zoo, he was a tiger fan, and had a crazy gay life. He even married 2 dudes at the same time. There was another zoo owner that had like 3 or 4 wives living in the same place working with his animals. After watching this episode one of my new generalizations is that zoo owners must tend to be very weird people.
I didn't really enjoy this documentary because I was expecting less of a drama and more of a crime. The craziness of the people involved in this story was really high, but I was hoping for the show to reach a climax eventually, it didn't. Or at least not as I was expecting it. There is no strong crime involved in this, not like in the documentary I mentioned above. I also got tired of these crazy people, they are so bizarre and the documentary shows so much stuff about their personal lives and dysfunctionalities that in the end, the experience wasn't worth it.
A proper summary of the documentary would be that 2 crazy zoo owners have strong resentment and grudges between them. They even wish the other one was dead. One of them is really rich and the other one not so much. Eventually, there are lawsuits, money problems, emotional problems... you name it. The ending isn't the bomb I wanted to watch. It was rather a weak and underwhelming ending.
I don't know who could enjoy this type of documentary, I guess that if you want to watch crazy people working with animals and having tons of issues then this production is a good choice but its entertainment value for me is low.

The best
- It provides a little insight into the type of crazy people that inhabits this world. In this case, crazy tiger people.
The worst
- It is not straight to the point production. It includes a lot of personal and gay drama that I wasn't interested in.
- There are crimes but I was expecting something even worse.
