This was an entertaining but also a very strange movie. In the beginning, it looks as if this was just another drama/comedy about a regular guy with nothing special going on. The only reason I kept watching those silly first minutes is that the movie belongs to the mystery genre and I was expecting some weird things to happen.
Everything starts to get entertaining when a girl he met the night before and lived next to his apartment disappears. The guy doesn't understand how she can disappear like that and what makes everything crazier is that a billionaire is found dead shortly after that along with 3 women. One of the remains of this tragedy is a hat that looks exactly the same as a hat the girl used to have.
It is the hat that convinces the guy there is something really weird going on so he begins to investigate what really happened. This decision will take him on a life-changing journey where he will learn how deep the craziness in Hollywood really is and how elaborated are the conspiracies the majority of people simply discard as nonsense.
Throughout this journey, he will get to know some people who work in the industry, and slowly but surely he will eventually have contact with those that know everything that happened and why it happened. It gets a little bit esoteric and there is no evil involved in the main conspiracy.
This isn't a dark film and it is meant to be fun so the conspiracies aren't really disturbing but the effort from the elite in producing all of the clues is certainly striking. The fact these conspiracies aren't disturbing doesn't mean there aren't crimes and even murders involved.
If you enjoy the mystery genre then this is certainly a good movie to watch. Have in mind this movie is more like a goofy mystery film instead of a serious one. There are just too many things that couldn't have happened if the same story was developed in a serious way. In the end, it was a nice flick to watch and I enjoyed it. It would have been better to reduce the lengths of all the scenes before the disappearance happens, and therefore, reducing the length of the film to less than 2 hours.

- The crazy stuff might be too much for some people.
