E se Hitler non fosse morto? Se invece di suicidarsi avesse perso conoscenza e si risvegliasse nel 2014? Sono queste le premesse del film Tedesco di cui il protagonista é Oliver Masucci la cui presenza é fondamentale anche nella serie TV Dark di cui ho parlato in un mio precedente post, se vi interessa dategli un'occhiata! Un'idea abbastanza folle per un film satirico davvero ben riuscito, un po' film un po' documentario, tratto da un romanzo di Timur Vermes che è anche uno degli sceneggiatori del film. La parte film ha una trama molto semplice, Hitler si risveglia nello stesso punto in cui ha “tentato” di suicidarsi nel Führerbunker a Berlino, conosce un edicolante aspirante regista che decide di girare un documentario su di lui e successivamente lo pubblica su internet ottenendo un grande successo, Hitler viene dunque assunto da un emittente televisiva e gli viene affidata una rubrica tutta per se. La trama seppur abbastanza scarna é davvero intrigante e riesce a catturare l'attenzione dello spettatore, non che io sia mai stato un sostenitore dell'elemento in questione, anzi totalmente all'opposto però, considerato il fatto di aver visto etichettato il film come commedia mi sono deciso a guardarlo, perché una bella presa in giro su questa tipologia di personaggi deplorevoli a mio modo di vedere ci sta alla grande! Quello che attira maggiormente l'attenzione dello spettatore sono le scene reali in giro per la Germania e fatte apparire come documentario girato dall'edicolante durante il film. Le reazioni della gente sono delle più disparate, anche perché il protagonista é talmente ben truccato ed ha l'accento praticamente identico all'elemento che interpreta e quindi fa cadere molte persone in inganno che seppur consce non sia davvero lui stanno al gioco e gli danno corda.

Tra queste reazioni ce ne sono alcune piacevoli e divertenti di persone intelligenti che stanno al gioco e scherzano con lui, c'é invece chi la prende sul personale dimostrando tutto il suo disprezzo nei suoi confronti, d'altronde sono reazioni comprensibili dato che non é proprio una figura ben voluta dato che tutti conosciamo le nefandezze che ha commesso. Le reazioni più scioccanti e che fanno venire i brividi si hanno da quelli che sono i sostenitori dell'elemento in questione, che invece di sentirsi offesi e percepire che sia una presa per i fondelli gli danno sostegno e fanno discorsi che sinceramente mi vergogno e mi rifiuto di riportare, in questo modo cerco di stimolarvi e incuriosirvi nella visione di questo docu-film che merita davvero e non avete nessuno spoiler, che non é mai bello avere prima di vedere un film e ci tengo esplicitamente a sottolineare nel titolo dei miei post così da evitarvi brutte sorprese. Come nel caso della serie Tv Dark ho dovuto guardare il film tradotto in italiano dato che in lingua originale avrei dovuto dedicarmi quasi esclusivamente alla lettura dei sottotitoli e non avrei potuto apprezzare appieno le reazioni della gente e lo svolgersi della storia, ho comunque provato successivamente a guardarne un pezzo in lingua originale e devo concordare con chi ha sottolineato la grande performance del protagonista che si é calato nel personaggio in modo stupefacente riuscendo ad imitare quasi alla perfezione l'accento di Hitler.

What if Hitler wasn't dead? Instead of committing suicide, he lost consciousness and woke up in 2014? These are the premises of the German movie, the lead actor Oliver Masucci presence that is also fundamental in the Dark TV series of which I spoke in my previous post, if you're interested take a look! A pretty crazy idea for a really successful satirical movie, divided in a movie and a documentary pieces, based on a novel by Timur Vermes who is also one of the film's writers. The movie part has a very simple story, Hitler awakens at the same point where he "tried" to commit suicide in the Führerbunker in Berlin, knows an newsagent that aspiring to be a director who decides to shoot a documentary about him and then publish it on the internet obtaining a great success, Hitler is therefore hired by a television station and is entrusted with a column for himself. The plot, although quite weak is really intriguing and manages to capture the attention of the viewer, I haven't ever been a supporter of the element in question, in fact totally the opposite, however, considering that I saw the film labeled as comedy I decided to watch it, because a nice joke about this type of deplorable characters in my opinion is great! What most capture the attention of the viewer are the real scenes around Germany and made to appear as a documentary filmed by the newsagent during the film. The reactions of the people are of the most disparate, also because the lead actor is so well make up and has the accent almost identical to the character that plays and this makes many people fall into deception that even if conscious that is not really they are playing and going along him.

Among these reactions there are some pleasant and fun of intelligent people who play the game and joke with him, but there are those who take it on personally showing all his contempt for him, besides are understandable reactions since it is not just a really liked figure as we all know the atrocities he has committed. The most shocking and shivering reactions come from those who are supporters of the element in question, that instead of feeling offended and understand that it is a mock, they give him support and make speeches that I sincerely feel ashamed and I I refuse to report, in this way I try to stimulate and intrigue you in the vision of this docu-movie that really deserves and you do not have any spoilers, which is never nice to see before a movie and I wright explicitly in the title of my posts avoiding unpleasant surprises. Like in the case of the Dark TV series I had to watch the movie translated in Italian language as in the original language I would have to read almost exclusively subtitles and I couldn't fully appreciate the reactions of the people and follow the story, I tried later to watch a piece of it in the original language and I have to agree with those who emphasises the great performance of the lead actor that has playing the role in an amazing way managing to an almost perfectly imitation of Hitler's accent.
