I had some time without posting in this community, but it's time to return to this activity that I like so much as it is to review movies and series. In this opportunity, I will share a review and my opinion of the movie "As Above, So Below" or "Así en la Tierra como en el infierno" as it is known in Spanish, a 2014 movie that we can currently watch on Netflix. The film stars Perdita Weeks and Ben Feldman and was directed by John Erick Dowdle whom we remember for directing films like "Quarantine" and "Devil".
The film takes us to the fearsome catacombs of Paris where a fearless and reckless explorer ventures with a group in search of the mythical philosopher's stone, an element that in theory allows to transform matter and maximizes vitality. But in the course of the plot the reckless and ambitious group will realize that what is there is far beyond their understanding and that it was better not to raise the dust of those dark caverns.
Tenía tiempo sin postear en ésta comunidad, pero llegó la hora de regresar a ésta actividad que tanto me gusta como lo es reseñar películas y series. En ésta oportunidad, compartiré una reseña y mi opinión de la película "As Above, So Below" o "Así en la Tierra como en el infierno" como se le conoce en español, una película del año 2014 que actualmente podemos ver en Netflix. La película esta protagonizada por Perdita Weeks y Ben Feldman y fue dirigida por John Erick Dowdle a quien recordamos por dirigir películas como "Quarantine" y "Devil".
La película nos traslada a las temibles catacumbas de París en la cual una entrépida y temeraria exploradora se aventura junto a un grupo en busqueda de la mítica piedra filosofal, un elemento que en teoría permite transformar la materia y maximiza la vitalidad. Pero en el transcurso de la trama el temerario y ambisioso grupo se irá dando cuenta que lo que hay allí va mucho mas allá de su entendimiento y que era preferible no levantar el polvo de esas oscuras cavernas.
I invite you to watch the video to see my review and opinion in much more detail of this film which I came to randomly and which at first glance gave me the impression that I did not waste my time. The film is nothing to sneer at and in a way it left me with a couple of lessons regarding not touching the occult and not digging into elements that are unknown or beyond our competence. La película no es nada despreciable y de alguna manera me dejó un par de lecciones respecto a no tocar lo oculto y a no escudriñar en elementos que son desconicidos o que están fuera de nuestra competencia.
