Many years ago while working as a teacher's assistant for the New York Film Academy, I met and helped teach a 17 year old filmmaker from San Diego who would become one of my dearest friends.

Today, he's launched the largest directing effort his life with DJI - the world's largest drone manufacturer - to produce and release a martial arts action short film!

He shot in the world's largest stages, with some of the best martial arts actions stuntmen in China along with one of the most accomplished cinematographers in the business, Amir Mokri.

I give you... THE TEACHER!

The best form of success is to have one who succeeds more than his mentor or teacher. You student has not just only succeeded in the craft you thought him but he has improved in all ways. And permit me to say that The teacher is an excellent one and from my point of view this ought to be dedicates to you.

I salute you for teaching that young 17years old then and it has paid off today.

What a production!! ?I'm a big action fan and this one was very well executed. And I can see the drone "influence" just that last shot can go on their website, easy.
