The second trailer for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (Sony Pictures Animation), which adapts Marvel's Ultimate Comics to an animated version, was released today and the movie's premiere will be in December this year.
This trailer allows us to see more details about our main character, Miles Morales, and his environment, his father, villains who will appear in the film as The Green Goblin, The Kingpin, The Prowler; as well as his mentor, Peter Parker, and at the end of the trailer we see Gwen Stacy as Spider-Gwen, which was a pleasant surprise for many fans.
This film presents us with a universe where there is not just one Spider-Man, but several. Peter discovers the powers in Miles through his Spider-Sense and begins to teach him how to become Spider-Man; one of the most important lessons this trailer leaves us is Peter's message: "You can't think about saving the world, you have to think about saving one person."

One thing that strikes us is: we know that Peter Parker is dead in the comic books by the time Miles Morales becomes the new Spider-Man, and in the first trailer we notice that Miles is standing in front of a grave that looks like Peter's grave. So is Miles' mentor in this movie the same Peter before he died, or is he from another universe? I incline to the first option because, when Peter teaches Miles, we see that he wears a handmade suit like the original Spider-Man, while in other scenes of the trailer we see him in the new black and red suit (which is the same one he wears while looking at the grave).
For me, the most striking thing about the trailer is, without a doubt, the animation. We see elements in 3D, 2D and stop motion; we can appreciate the attachment of the design to the comics, such as the detail of the text boxes in the cartoon narrations, as well as in the characters' features. It is a blast to the eyes that promises an incredible visual experience.
The leap of faith
In both the first trailer and the second one, and in the poster of the film, they show us a scene that until now has been my favorite: it seems to be that moment in which Miles, once he discovers his powers and begins to dominate them, decides to take the great leap into the void to prove himself, falling upside down between the buildings, giving us a shocking panoramic view. Without further ado, here are the two Spider-Man trailers: Into the Spider-Verse that have been released to date (the first one, in particular, is my favorite thanks to the musical background that perfectly matches the scene of Miles' jump). All we can do is enjoy them and wait until December for the release of this film.
