¿De qué trata?
La historia inicia con Laura (Christina Ricci) y su hijo Cody (Santino Barnard) que va huyendo de su ex¬ marido maltratador hacia un pueblo en California a fin de iniciar una nueva vida, llegan y se instalan en su nueva casa, pero en la noche Cody ve un Monstruo por su ventana que va saliendo de un lago cercano a la casa y comienza a gritar, su mama llega al cuarto y no ve a nada, al otro día Cody acude a la Escuela, y luego al parque ella le dice a Cody que valla a jugar con un niño, pero el niño lo ignora, se van a su casa Laura siente una presencia de una entidad hasta que ve al Monstruo y cae por las escaleras, Cody le dice que el Monstruo no es malo que es una señora bonita, ella agarra a Cody y salen huyendo de la casa y se meten al auto pero este no quiso encender y se quedaron durmiendo en el auto a partir de allí se suscitan otros acontecimientos y poco a poco vamos descubriendo la verdad, la recomiendo.

Me encanto su Banda Sonora donde canciones como: See you later alligator, I dont want to set the Word on fire, The Word on fire, Katchi, Everyday y True love ways le imprimieron esa música muy linda, emotiva y apropiada para la época de 1959.
Opinión Personal
Bueno amigo me encanto la Película de suspenso y sobrenatural, trata del dolor y el trauma que causa perder un ser querido a tal punto que perdemos la realidad y solo fijamos lo que queremos ver, me hizo recordar a una película animada llamada Anna y Bruno, en este caso Laura ve la casa arreglada todo perfecto, quería que Cody hiciera amigos en la Escuela, cuando en realidad no era así. Las actuaciones de Christina Ricci (Laura) y Santino Barnard (Cody) estuvieron a la altura, me pareció creíble la escena de la aceptación, y el dejar ir, muy emotiva hace llorar. Me gustaron algunas canciones como Everiday cuando estaban inflando los globos para la fiesta de Cumpleaños y True love ways al final. Bueno amigos no les digo más, solo se la recomiendo es buena y te hace reflexionar.

What is it about?

Personal Opinion
Well my friend I loved the suspense and supernatural movie, it deals with the pain and trauma caused by losing a loved one to such an extent that we lose reality and only fixate on what we want to see, it reminded me of an animated movie called Anna and Bruno, in this case Laura sees the house arranged everything perfect, she wanted Cody to make friends at the School, when in reality it was not so. The performances of Christina Ricci (Laura) and Santino Barnard (Cody) were on point, I found the acceptance scene believable, and the letting go, very emotional makes you cry. I liked some songs like Everiday when they were blowing up the balloons for the Birthday party and True love ways at the end.
