Hola apreciada Comunidad Hive, Reciban en esta hermosa noche muchas Bendiciones. Hoy les he traído una hermosa película animada por Computadora cargada de Aventura y Ciencia Ficción, basada en el Comics de Nate Diana Stevenson o simplemente ND Stevenson, se trata: NIMONA 2023, bajo la Dirección Nick Bruno y Troy Quane, escrita por Marc Haimes, Con las voces de Chole Grace Moretz (Nimona) Riz Ahmed (Ballister Boldheart) y Eugene Lee Yang ( Ambrosius Goldenloin).
¿De qué trata?
Es la historia de Nimona una niña Cambia Formas rebelde que aparece en la vida de Ballister Boldheart (Riz Ahmed), un caballero incriminado por la muerte de la reina Valerin, tengo que contar primero que Ballister fue un niño sin linaje, quien por su astucia y destreza logro ganarse el aprecio de la reina, ella decide nombrarlo caballero pero la espada descargo un rayo sobre la reina y esta muere. Ballister, ahora es un asesino, siendo perseguido por el amor de su vida el también caballero Ambrosius Goldenloin (Eugene Lee Yang), quien le corta el brazo para que soltara la espada, el huye del sitio, quedando asilado, allí aparece Nimona, para ayudarlo a demostrar su inocencia. A partir de allí vivirán extraordinarias aventuras y nacerá una amistad inmutable.
Opinión Personal
Que hermosa película 100% recomendada, te atrapa desde el inicio hasta el final, es una historia de aceptación, rechazo, falta de afecto, amor, perdón, confianza, miedo, es una mezcla de todos los sentimientos. Nimona es un ser cambia forma de donde sale, no sabemos, esa es otra historia, aparece en la vida de Ballister Boldheart, un ser sin linaje, noble, valiente, aspirante a caballero, pero un acontecimiento cambio el curso y fue culpado de un crimen que no cometió.
Esta es una película que recalca constantemente la aceptación hacia lo diferente, la injusticia de un gobierno dictatorial que no permite que existan seres que sean diferentes a sus ideales o que tengan un pensamiento fuera de lo establecido. El escenario futurístico con tecnología y el estilo fantasía medieval, hacen muy buena mezcla, resulta muy llamativo y curioso a la vista, además de la implementación de en esa época hay redes sociales también.
Cabe destacar su dirección de voz y animación, iniciado por el estudio de fox Century 20th “Blue Sky Studios” lo cual tuvo un proceso de desarrollo difícil debido a diversos cambios por parte de los directivos, ya que la película posee gran diversidad entre sus personajes, lo cual es parte de la esencia de esta película, y luego finalizado por Annapurna y Dneg Animation.
En cuanto a la animación puedo decir que estuvo increíble con un estilo y colores, me encanto el color rojo del cabello de Nimona, así como el rosado en los diferentes animales presentados.
La Banda Sonora estuvo compuesta por Christophe Beck dejándose escuchar The tra la la Song de los Banana Splits, siempre me ha gustado este tema es muy alegre, tenemos también Becauses I’m awesone de Dollyrots muy enérgica me encanto, así como también la icónica Careless Whisper de George Michael y muchos temas más entre Rock y Jazz.
Es una película que mantiene la comedia y el entretenimiento desde el inicio hasta todo el proceso de su desarrollo, ya que a cada parte le dan un toque cómico, haciendo una película lo suficientemente entretenida, para un público joven, ya que no decae o aburre en ningún punto de su desarrollo.
En el caso de Disney luego de que la gente masacro Buzz Lightyear por un simple beso de unos personajes secundarios, y la falta de publicidad que tuvo su otra película la cual uno de los personajes principales era abiertamente gay, Un Mundo Extraño, honestamente no sé por qué Disney no aprovecho el hecho de adquirir esta película, si le sobra el dinero para malgastar en producciones que algunas no han dado la talla para el público, que tiene de malo arriesgarse con esta película? No creo que hubiera sido peor que la Sirenita, la cual no me molesta su color de piel, además esta historia ya estaba anteriormente recibida bien por el público en su edición de Comic, al igual que en los otros casos Disney no pensó bien su jugaba, al perderse la oportunidad de presentar a personas LGBTQ+ en una película que realmente fuera decente, agradable e interesante, acto para todas las personas.
El peligro de un gobernante autoritario que no da oportunidades a los pensamientos o la libertad de expresiones diferentes, También quiero añadir que en 69 países es un delito ser homosexual y en 12 está castigado con pena de muerte, sin embargo esta película a pesar de tener 2 personas principales claramente LGBTQ+, no se enfoca necesariamente en su sexualidad, prácticamente eso queda en plano secundario, ya que la historia resalta mucho más, ya que hablamos de un ambiente futurístico donde los prejuicios de juzgar la sexualidad de alguien ya serian cosa del pasado, pero en este mundo hay otro tipo de seres “metamorfos” y la historia da a conocer a una en concreto que es Nimona, pero si se hace énfasis en el trato diferente que alguna persona pueda recibir, justamente por ser diferente lo cual encaja en ella.
Hay una parte que me causa bastante curiosidad donde está la directora y Ambrosio están conversando y ella le pregunta si está bien?, el en su mente le cuenta que se siente fatal, ya que siente que traiciona a su Institución sino captura a Ballister y hacen lo que le piden, o siente que traicionaría a la Institución si se queda del lado de el, encontrándose a sí mismo en un estado de inquietud y confusión, la cual no demuestra porque prefiere cortar la conversación en un simple y triste “Estoy bien” esto realmente te hace asociarlo mucho a la vida real, cuando estamos tan cargados de emociones y saturados de pensamientos invasivos que al final preferimos reprimirnos o guardarnos y dar respuestas cortas solo pasar de largo, me parece bastante triste que algunas personas no sientan la suficiente confianza o ganas de querer manifestar sus pensamientos sin temor a que los juzguen o tal vez no los comprendan del todo, creo que mucho más de una vez hemos dicho que estamos bien cuando no lo estamos, parece como si hablar de lo que sientes te hace ver emocionalmente vulnerable y esto de alguna manera fuera peligroso para nosotros.
Hay otra escena de la película que me gusta en donde Ballister y Nimona conversan, y él le pregunta qué pasaría si ella no se convirtiera o cambiara de forma? Ella responde inteligentemente; “No estaría muerta, pero tampoco viva”, dándonos perfectamente a entender que si no es ella misma, si no deja fluir lo que realmente es, no se sentiría ella, es prácticamente como decirle a una persona: “Oye no seas tú mismo”, prácticamente le estas quitando su esencia e identidad
Hay un punto donde observamos que nuestro personaje Nimona toca fondo luego de la discusión con Ballister, por pensar constantemente y casi mencionar aquella palabra despectiva que no le define en lo absoluto.
Cabe destacar otra parte muy importante es donde Nimona dice: “No sé qué asusta más, el hecho de que todos en este reino quieran clavarme una espada en mi corazón o que a veces quiero que lo hagan, esta parte me dolió un poco ya que en pocas palabras dice que preferiría que acabaran con ella, te cansas tanto del trato, la falta de comprensión diferente la intolerancia y la discriminación que prefieres acabar contigo que seguir soportando todo eso.
Nimona tenía el pensamiento que por haber pasado tanto tiempo con gloriana, tener una especie de amistad, no habría ningún problema de que gloriana le aceptara tal y como era, pero gloriana repitió el comportamiento que vio de sus padres y de los adultos sin importar la amistad que tenia con nimona, sin tener pensamiento propio o critico de que tal vez estaba equivocada, diferenciándose de la idea de los demás, lo que cabe entender que a veces les enseñamos a los niños a tratar de manera distinta a las personas diferentes o que ellos suelen repetir los comportamientos que ven en otras personas.
La directora no logro comprender que estaba siendo injusta a no darle una oportunidad a Nimona en lugar de juzgarla, el temor de una idea diferente en su cabeza le cegaba e impedía comprender que Nimona era mucho más de lo que parecía. Hay mucho más allá de los muros, y muchas personas pasan su vida con muros en su mente. En cuanto a su final me hizo acordar al final de la película de Monsters, Inc. Personal Opinion
What a beautiful movie 100% recommended, it grabs you from the beginning to the end, it is a story of acceptance, rejection, lack of affection, love, forgiveness, trust, fear, it is a mixture of all feelings. Nimona is a shape-shifting being from where he comes from, we do not know, that is another story, he appears in the life of Ballister Boldheart, a being without lineage, noble, brave, aspiring knight, but an event changed the course and he was blamed for a crime he did not commit.
This is a film that constantly stresses the acceptance of the different, the injustice of a dictatorial government that does not allow beings who are different from their ideals or who have a thought outside the established. The futuristic scenario with technology and medieval fantasy style, make a very good mix, it is very striking and curious to the eye, in addition to the implementation of social networks in that era as well.
It is worth mentioning its voice direction and animation, initiated by the fox Century 20th studio "Blue Sky Studios" which had a difficult development process due to various changes by the directors, since the film has great diversity among its characters, which is part of the essence of this film, and then finished by Annapurna and Dneg Animation.
As for the animation I can say that it was amazing with a style and colors, I loved the red color of Nimona's hair, as well as the pink in the different animals presented.

There is a part that makes me quite curious where the director and Ambrosio are talking and she asks him if he is well? he tells her in his mind that he feels terrible, because he feels he is betraying his Institution if he doesn't capture Ballister and do what they ask him to do, or he feels he would betray the Institution if he stays on their side, finding himself in a state of uneasiness and confusion, which he doesn't show because he prefers to cut the conversation in a simple and sad "I'm fine" this really makes you associate it a lot to real life, when we are so charged with emotions and saturated with invasive thoughts that in the end we prefer to repress or keep to ourselves and give short answers and just pass by, I find it quite sad that some people do not feel confident enough or want to express their thoughts without fear of being judged or perhaps not fully understood, I think that much more than once we have said we are fine when we are not, it seems as if talking about what you feel makes you look emotionally vulnerable and this is somehow dangerous for us.
There is another scene in the movie that I like where Ballister and Nimona are talking, and he asks her what would happen if she didn't become or change her shape? She answers intelligently; "She wouldn't be dead, but she wouldn't be alive either", giving us perfectly to understand that if she is not herself, if she doesn't let flow what she really is, she wouldn't feel herself, it is practically like telling a person: "Hey don't be yourself", you are practically taking away her essence and identity.
There is a point where we observe that our character Nimona hits rock bottom after the discussion with Ballister, for constantly thinking and almost mentioning that derogatory word that does not define her at all.
It is worth noting another very important part is where Nimona says: "I do not know what scares me more, the fact that everyone in this kingdom wants to stick a sword in my heart or that sometimes I want them to do it, this part hurt me a little since in a few words she says that she would rather they finish with her, you get so tired of the treatment, the lack of understanding different intolerance and discrimination that you prefer to finish with you than to continue putting up with all that.
Nimona had the thought that for having spent so much time with Gloriana, having a kind of friendship, there would be no problem that Gloriana would accept her as she was, but Gloriana repeated the behavior she saw from her parents and adults regardless of the friendship she had with Nimona, without having her own thought or criticism that maybe she was wrong, differing from the idea of others, which is understandable that sometimes we teach children to treat differently to different people or that they tend to repeat the behaviors they see in other people.
The director failed to understand that she was being unfair not to give Nimona a chance instead of judging her, the fear of a different idea in her head blinded her and prevented her from understanding that Nimona was much more than what she seemed. There is much more beyond the walls, and many people spend their lives with walls in their mind. As for its ending it reminded me of the end of the movie Monsters, Inc.
