Desde hace unos meses he comenzado a trabajar en mi crecimiento personal, mediante cursos, libros y películas que me permitan ver a la vida desde otra perspectiva, a entender de mejor manera mi existencia, y por supuesto amarme a mí misma. Así que por eso decidí ver la serie “The Midnight Gospel”. Principalmente, contiene 8 episodios en formato de podcast que menciona temas muy profundos sobre la existencia de la humanidad, considero que fue creada para mostrarnos que de alguna forma ya nos estamos acercando al futuro por lo que debemos mejorar y ayudar a otras personas a conocer la verdad.
Introducción
Hablar de los multiversos, universos paralelos es muy común en el cine, pero cuando le agregan a todo eso; las máquinas cuánticas como creadores de planetas, viajes inter dimensionales, planetas de payaso o planetas de helados suena muy demente. Pues de eso se trata esta serie que es muy extraña y a la vez interesante.
Clancy, el protagonista, vive en una parte de la galaxia, quien experimenta viajes intergalácticos a través de un simulador de universos usados, para entrevistar a seres inteligentes que conocen en temas como la muerte, meditación, drogas, el cristianismo, el perdón y la magia entre otros más. De esta manera hacer transmisiones que irán al espacio y poder ganar dinero de esto. Tal y como lo haría un “youtuber” pero de una forma extremadamente futurista.
Suena muy de ciencia ficción que venga alguien del espacio a entrevistarte en este instante para su show intergaláctico. Básicamente, esto es lo que hace Clancy puede ir al planeta que se le ocurra mediante su simulador. ¿Cómo es esto posible? Todo indica que lo que viaja es la conciencia de Clancy a través de un avatar que se adapte a cada planeta y seres que habitan ahí.

Análisis y opinión
Cuando comencé a ver la serie fue sorprendente ver el tipo de surrealismo en la animación, algunas cosas me parecieron descabelladas, por ejemplo, ver a Clancy con un avatar que tiene piernas en modo de culebras, ¡qué aterrador ver eso! Además de esas cosas raras que en todo momento sucedían, las escenas fueron interesantes haciendo que me desconcentre del verdadero mensaje de las entrevistas en los personajes.
Debo confesar que me resultó muy difícil observar y escuchar a la misma vez. Los diálogos transcurrían muy rápido, que si me despistaba un momento no terminaba comprendiendo, así que en muchas ocasiones tuve que volver a repetir los episodios completos para entender lo que decían y como lo relacionan con las escenas.
En el primer capítulo se habla de las drogas, aludiendo que no son ni buenas ni malas, solo están ahí, existen en la naturaleza y solo depende qué uso le damos, como los psicodélicos que están para la meditación y calmar la mente o las pastillas para dormir que matan perpetuamente al humano. Al mismo tiempo, las escenas que transcurrían mostraban un apocalipsis zombi, indicando metafóricamente que las personas que abusan de las drogas viven como zombis.
El segundo episodio me resultó un tema demasiado fuerte para el fanatismo religioso, es más, me recordó a la teoría de que “Jesús vivió hasta los 84 años en la India”. Definitivamente, fue bueno que se mencionará de manera cuidadosa, para que no resultará desacreditable. Se habló de las enseñanzas de un libro que Jesús dejó en la India. En donde se mencionó que “a través del amor todo dolor se convierte en medicina” haciendo referencia que no necesitamos de historias y predicar, sino que más bien poder expresarlo con hechos, por lo que se dijo que el cristianismo no tiene sentido pero que las enseñanzas de Jesús sí.
El último episodio definitivamente arrasó con todos, aquí la entrevistada fue la mamá de Clancy. Es increíble como en este capítulo nos enseñan que podemos dejar de sufrir si practicamos la meditación. Es que yo he comprendido que la meditación no solo es para los budistas o para ciertas personas con problemas mentales. Si no para todos y eso lo recalca en la serie. La meditación para aprender a escuchar, para conocer dimensiones de conciencia fuera del tiempo-espacio y el medio para prepararnos a la muerte.
Representa cómo nos hemos convertido en seres muy mentales que tratamos de evitar a toda costa lo que verdaderamente somos. Yo soy una de ellas, al principio no entendía nada de la meditación, pero después cuando por fin pude sentir un avance lo dejé porque sentí miedo. Todo lo que sucedió en el último episodio fue como un resumen de un libro completo de espiritualidad, con la diferencia que contiene sucesiones de imágenes y humor para que pudiéramos comprender y abrir el corazón.
En general no puedo decir que ningún episodio es aburrido o no tiene sentido lo que dice. Me agrada, de principio a fin, la manera de narrar con una forma divertida, humorística y juvenil. Me reí en varias ocasiones, una de ellas fue cuando Clancy dijo que solo vivía por su “único suscriptor”; recordé cuando yo empecé a compartir videos, (claro que al primer suscriptor se lo ama). La música es otro aspecto muy agradable de la serie, temas como “Your my sunshine” del gran Johnny Cash que es uno de mis artistas favoritos.
Otra parte que me hizo sentir alegre fue, cuando en una entrevista se mencionó que no siempre podemos vivir en un estado de felicidad completa, por ejemplo, cuando algo está mal, ya sea que estemos enfermos o con algún problema, no tratemos de ocultar diciendo que todo está bien, sino decir “que estamos mejorando minuto a minuto” ¿Es Increíble?, ¿No? Para mí lo fue. Finalmente, son muchos temas de los que se tratan, tampoco quiero hacer spoiler, lo que he mencionado es una pequeña mordida de todo lo que se viene.

Conclusión
Finalmente puedo recalcar que la serie es muy buena en toda su construcción, es pesada para entender cómo funciona la muerte, la espiritualidad, la existencia y todo lo que esto conllevo con el Creador. También sentí que el tiempo que dediqué a ver la serie sirvió como terapia, hay muchas cosas que entiendo, pero aún no lo comprendo del todo; sin embargo, me ha servido para abrir un poco la mente.
Considero que es una pequeña chispa para despegarnos de muchas cosas que nos han enseñado en la religión y conocer teorías que parecen no ser tomadas en cuenta, pero existen y están ahí para ayudarnos. No lo recomendaría si no te interesa saber estos temas y te sientes bien con lo que ahora mismo sabes y entiendes.
Es la primera vez que veo este tipo de formato y conozco la existencia de Ducan Trusell uno de los creadores “The Midnight Gospel” seguramente estaré pendiente de sus próximas creaciones, en esta ocasión me pareció ver una obra de arte y un contenido de calidad.

Mainly, it contains 8 episodes in podcast format that mentions very deep topics about the existence of humanity, I consider that it was created to show us that somehow we are already approaching the future so we must improve and help other people to know the truth.
Introduction
Talking about multiverses, parallel universes is very common in movies, but when they add to all that; quantum machines as planet creators, inter-dimensional travel, clown planets or ice cream planets it sounds very insane. Well that's what this series is all about which is very strange and yet interesting at the same time.
Clancy, the main character, lives in a part of the galaxy, who experiences intergalactic travel through a used universe simulator, to interview intelligent beings he knows about topics such as death, meditation, drugs, Christianity, forgiveness and magic among others. In this way to make transmissions that will go to space and to be able to earn money from this. Just like a "youtuber" would do but in an extremely futuristic way.
It sounds very sci-fi that someone from space comes to interview you right now for their intergalactic show. Basically, this is what Clancy does, he can go to any planet he can think of using his simulator. How is this possible? Everything indicates that what travels is Clancy's consciousness through an avatar that adapts to each planet and beings that inhabit there.

Analysis and opinion
When I started watching the series it was surprising to see the kind of surrealism in the animation, some things seemed crazy to me, for example, seeing Clancy with an avatar that has legs in snake mode, how scary to see that! Besides those weird things that were going on all the time, the scenes were interesting, making me lose focus of the real message of the interviews on the characters.
I must confess that I found it very difficult to watch and listen at the same time. The dialogues went by so fast, that if I got distracted for a moment I didn't end up understanding, so in many occasions I had to repeat the whole episodes again to understand what they were saying and how they relate it to the scenes.
In the first chapter they talk about drugs, alluding that they are neither good nor bad, they are just there, they exist in nature and it just depends on what use we give them, like psychedelics that are for meditation and calm the mind or sleeping pills that perpetually kill the human. At the same time, the scenes that took place showed a zombie apocalypse, metaphorically indicating that people who abuse drugs live like zombies.
I found the second episode too strong a theme for religious fanaticism, indeed, it reminded me of the "Jesus lived to be 84 years old in India" theory. It was definitely good that it was mentioned in a careful way, so that it would not be discreditable. The teachings of a book that Jesus left in India were mentioned. In which it was mentioned that "through love all pain becomes medicine" making reference that we do not need stories and preaching, but rather to be able to express it with facts, so it was said that Christianity does not make sense but that the teachings of Jesus do.
The last episode definitely blew everyone away, here the interviewee was Clancy's mom. It's amazing how in this episode they teach us that we can stop suffering if we practice meditation. I have understood that meditation is not only for Buddhists or for certain people with mental problems. If not for everyone and that emphasizes it in the series. Meditation to learn to listen, to know dimensions of consciousness outside of time-space and the means to prepare us for death.
It represents how we have become very mental beings who try to avoid at all costs what we really are. I am one of them, at first I didn't understand anything about meditation, but then when I could finally feel a breakthrough I stopped because I felt afraid. Everything that happened in the last episode was like a summary of a complete book on spirituality, with the difference that it contains successions of images and humor so that we could understand and open our hearts.
Overall I can't say that any episode is boring or doesn't make sense. I like, from beginning to end, the way of narrating with a funny, humorous and youthful way. I laughed on several occasions, one of them was when Clancy said he only lived for his "one subscriber"; I remembered when I started sharing videos, (of course the first subscriber is loved). The music is another very nice aspect of the series, songs like "Your my sunshine" by the great Johnny Cash who is one of my favorite artists.
Another part that made me feel joyful was, when in an interview it was mentioned that we can't always live in a state of complete happiness, for example, when something is wrong, whether we are sick or with some problem, let's not try to hide it by saying that everything is fine, but to say "we are getting better minute by minute" Is it amazing, isn't it? For me it was. Finally, there are many topics that are covered, I don't want to make spoilers either, what I have mentioned is a small bite of everything that is to come.

Conclusion
Finally I can emphasize that the series is very good in all its construction, it is heavy to understand how death works, spirituality, existence and all that this entails with the Creator. I also felt that the time I spent watching the series served as therapy, there are many things I understand, but I still do not fully understand; however, it has helped me to open my mind a little.
I consider that it is a small spark to detach us from many things that we have been taught in religion and to know theories that seem not to be taken into account, but they exist and are there to help us. I would not recommend it if you are not interested in knowing these topics and feel good with what you know and understand right now.
It is the first time I see this type of format and I know the existence of Ducan Trusell one of the creators "The Midnight Gospel" surely I will be watching for his next creations, this time I thought I saw a work of art and quality content.
