Good afternoon dear and distinguished readers, @eskandar strikes again and this time it's with an attack on the icons of comedy movies, I come with a review of the highly acclaimed movie "White Chicks", popular enough to have been immortalized in contemporary culture with memes alluding to various situations within the film.

Buenas tardes queridos y distinguidos lectores, @eskandar ataca nuevamente y esta vez es con un atentado a los íconos de las películas de comedia, vengo con una reseña de la muy aclamada película de "¿y Donde Están las Rubias?", lo suficientemente popular como para haber quedado inmortalizada en la cultura contemporánea con memes alusivos a varias situaciones dentro del film.

Sinopsys

In today's society a good job makes the difference between a good life and a bad death, so who wouldn't be willing to do whatever it takes to keep it?

That's the situation that Marcus and Kevin Copeland, two brothers and co-workers in the FBI with a lousy career and a lot of problems with their boss, found themselves in. In light of that they took a job no one wanted as escorts for two spoiled upper class "girls" whose father was involved in controversy (lots of money and lots of people who love him).

After a traffic accident in which they are left with "TERRIBLE INJURIES" on their faces, they are hospitalized in a 5-star hotel awaiting their recovery. Realizing the bad path the investigation was taking and in order to improve their work record, they decide to impersonate daddy's two girls to gather information and keep their social life afloat.

The story unfolds around the slew of situations in which these two investigators get involved. By the end you get a good idea of the life of a girl with a lot of time on her hands.

En la sociedad actual un buen trabajo hace la diferencia entre una buena vida y una mala muerte, así que ¿quién no estaría dispuesto a hacer lo que fuera necesario con tal de conservarlo?

Esa es la situación en la que se vieron envueltos Marcus y Kevin Copeland, dos hermanos y compañeros de trabajo en el FBI con una pésima carrera y bastantes problemas con su jefe. En vista de eso aceptaron un trabajo que nadie quería como escoltas de dos "niñas" malcriadas de clase alta, cuyo padre se vió involucrado en polémica (mucho dinero y mucha gente que lo quiere).

Tras un accidente de tránsito en el que ellas salen con "TERRIBLES HERIDAS" en sus rostros, se quedan internadas en un hotel 5 estrellas esperando su recuperación. Dándose cuenta del mal camino que estaba tomando la investigación y en pro de mejorar su historial de trabajo deciden hacerse pasar por las dos nenas de papá para recabar información y mantener la vida social de estas aún a flote.

La historia se desarrolla en torno al montón de situaciones en las que se ven implicados estos dos investigadores. Al final te haces una buena idea de la vida de una chica con bastante tiempo libre.

Movie Analisys

• Personally I love the movie because of the ridiculousness of the situation, two black men playing the role of two spoiled upper class white girls living off their parents' rent?who would think of that? The moments that made me laugh the most were the ones where Terry Crews participated, especially in the disco.

- I must admit that the makeup and the "special effects" seemed to me to be of a very good level, so much so that if it weren't for the fake falsetto voices and the rough man hands both actors would perfectly pass for women in any discotheque.

• Although the film is supposed to show two agents on duty and working deep undercover, what is observed is the life of rich girls in the affluent areas of Beberly Hills, showing their aspirations, pains, problems, complexes and desires (at least in a funny way).

Análisis de la película

• En lo personal me encanta la película por le hecho de lo ridículo de la situación, ¿dos hombre negros interpretando el papel de dos niñas blancas mimadas de clase alta que viven de la renta de sus padres?¿a quién se le ocurre?. Los momentos que más me dierón risa fueron en los que Terry Crews participó, sobre todo en la discoteca.

- Debo admitir que el maquillaje y los "efectos especiales" me parecieron de muy buen nivel, tanto así que si no fuese por las voces en falsete fingidas y por las rudas manos de hombre ambos actores pasarían perfectamente por mujeres en cualquier discoteca.

oh, pero que lindo hombre de chocolate!

• A pesar de que se supone que la película se supone que muestra a dos agentes en funciones y trabajando muy encubiertos, lo que se observa es la vida de las niñas ricas de las zonas pudientes de Beberly Hills, mostrando las aspiraciones, dolores, problemas, complejos y deseos de las mismas (al menos de una manera graciosa).

• The two lead actors are also brothers in real life and have made many movies together. Their names are Marlos and Shawn Wayans and they made movies like "little but dangerous" and "Scary Movie".
