The Fast and Furious series is one of my favorite movies. Why? Because I love cars, its action packed, interesting, full of energy and exciting. I am picky when it comes to movies. I watch movies based on actors, directors and genres. Most of the time when I watch movies, you either find me watching action, thriller, supernatural, adventure and horror.
Vin Diesel, one of the characters in the movie, is the reason why I love this series and basically I love all his movies. F9 (The fast saga) is the ninth installment for the series and I highly recommend that you watch it and you won't be disappointed. All other installments were good, interesting, action packed but F9 is like an upgrade and it is mind blowing with all the technology involved in the movie.
F9(The fast saga) explained how Dominic's life turned out the way it is, the events that took place which ended up shaping his life. The movie explains how Dominic lost his father, who is a legendary car racer in a race in which at the end of the day, he found out that his brother Jakob helped crash his father's car during the race while he was being locked up for violence. Dominic was furious with his brother and without hearing the other side of the story. He was patience enough to require for other side of the story. So out anger, he made a deal with Jakob on race challenge that if Jakob loses, he keeps driving and never comes back home, but if Dominic loses, Jakob can go back to the family.
In the present, Dominic is retired, out of the game and also raising his son Brian with his wife Lydia, but all that ended when they received an unexpected visit from Ramsey, Roman, and Tej with news that Mr Nobody needs their help to retrieve a device named Aries. This device can hack into any computer-controlled weapons system but Dominic didn't agree to go on the mission at first not until he realized that his long lost brother Jakob was involved. So he came on board for the mission.
During the mission to retrieve half a hemisphere of Aries, they were ambushed by Jakob's private Army. Jakob took the Aries from their hand left in his car with a super charged electromagnetic technology attached to a plane. Then Dominic knew that he and his team had a lot of homework to do.
After doing their homework, Dominic splited the team to various assignments so they can efficiently work together to bring Jakob to his knees. So along the way they discovered that Han, the main character in Tokyo Drift sequel, was still alive and not dead. Han was connected to the key to unlock the device Aries.
Dom located his brother in Edinburgh with Tej, Roman and Nathalie to stop Jakob from succeeding in stealing the other half of Aries but they got surprised with an electromagnetic network jam which was all Jakob's doing.
In the end he was captured and taken to Mr Nobody's secret hideout with a brave act of Nathalie.
Jakob was betrayed by his associate Otto. Otto hires Cipher to work with him as he turns his back to Jakob with the complete Aries and with Elle(daughter of the creator of Aries), the key to activate the device in his custody. Otto launches a satellite into an orbit but Tej and Roman intercept the satellite in space while Dominic and the rest of the team work against Cipher and Otto with the help of Jakob.
It was a success and Dominic's family got bigger which followed with a celebration at his house. The mid-scene got me anxiously waiting for the next sequel, if there will be one 🙄.
In this movie, I learnt one vital lesson that one has to be patient and not fast to conclude in any situation. Hence the quote below.
