When I got this movie from a friend, the title of the movie made me think the movie was going to be talking about two different people who met through social media and after many encounters fell in love and decided to meet up to spend the rest of their lives together but when I finally decided to watch the movie, it was a different shade and I must say it was interesting.

Friend Request is a thriller that was released January 7, 2020, directed by Roger M. Cobb, and written by Angela Burt-Murray. Its runtime is 1hour 27 minutes and it is centered around, love, friendship, family, betrayal, envy, deceit, hatred, and truth.
It is an interesting movie, it's got intriguing suspense and the characters played their role perfectly well.
The Plot
A successful family man and prominent advocate of law united with his ex-girlfriend from college in their school reunion and on that night both had an affair.
A few days later Rayna calls Malik to let him know she was pregnant which was the outcome of their one-night affair which made him yo begin questioning her life and relationship.
Malik tells Garret who happens to be his best friend, family friend, and business associate about the one-night sex with his ex-girlfriend and he was advised to tell his wife Michelle.
Malik decides to attend his wife's dinner exhibition in a studio, there he finds Rayna who happens to be the owner of the studio, and the painting on the wall of the studio we're all connected to the one-night affair between the both of them.
He decides to go back and check the friend request Rayna sent to him before their college reunion and realizes that everything about her has been wiped out. So he realizes that she is up to something there is more to Rayna as he finds and secretly asks his Secretary Amber to dig deep into her life history.
He comes back from work one day hoping to tell his wife about the truth but finds Rayna in his house with his wife feeling all cozy like they've known each other.
There Michelle tells him that they met on social media and her first exhibition that hindered her from attending his reunion with him was due to Rayna who had helped her get the deal.
Rayna was always stalking Malik and finding him at places he never told anyone about one day, the truth was finally seen by his wife who sends him packing out of their matrimony home.
Amber was murdered in the office locker room and all fingers were pointed at Malik because he was the last person who called Amber and his fingerprint was found on her body.
Garrit visits Michelle home to pack his friend's cloth but with his devious intention of having his way with Michelle but he refuses and she was knocked out and taken to Rayna's penthouse.
Malik finds out but too late about his best friend involved in the whole charade and rushes to save his wife but realizes that Garret had gotten to her before him.
He finds them at Rayna's penthouse and a fight ensued between both friends but Garret knocks Malik out and Rayna escapes.
Michelle was quick to pick up the gun that fell off Garrett's hands and aims it at him which ended his life. Malik takes the recording tape out which will help him clear off his name from being accused of killing his secretary and put Rayna in jail.
Terri who happens to be Michelle's friend and an officer of the law makes sure to deal with Rayna while serving her jail sentence.
