Among which I can highlight his participation in the movie Captain Phillips, Saving Private Ryan and Forrest Gump. Another actor of the same caliber who has also played a lot of roles and still maintains the total essence is Christian Bale, who throughout his life has played different iconic roles such as Jesus, a hero, a hero, a psychopath, a cop, a mobster and even a boxer. But the role I want to talk about today is his most recent film that has been released just 3 days ago and that everyone is talking about, and this film is outstanding as Chrisitan Bale still maintains that essence of excellence and quality, this new film is called The Pale Blue Eye, and tells us the events that occurred in 1830 at the United States Military Academy at West Point in New York. A film that involves many emotions and an incredible performance by Christian Bale, but let's talk a little of what the plot is about to get into context.

Una película que involucra muchas emociones y además una actuación increíble por parte Christian Bale, pero hablemos un poco de lo que va la trama para entrar en contexto.

As I said in the introduction, Christian Bale started strong this 2023 with a wonderful work of art, although on the internet what abounds most is that the film is amazing because they make reference to Edgar Allan Poe, but wind beyond this amazing movie because it is the adaptation of one of the best seller of the early 2000's. This movie is based on a novel of the same name by American writer Louis Bayard published in 2003, so it is a solid story behind the movie. Also, many people immediately recognized the actor who plays Edgar Allan Poe, and I think that overshadowed what the movie really wanted to convey, since the actor Harry Melling has played Dudley Dursley in the Harry Potter movies, so that was kind of free publicity for the movie, but it overshadowed the point of the movie, of course, although in some parts it gets a little weak, the ending is worth it all.

Esta película está basada en una novela del del mismo nombre del escritor estadounidense Louis Bayard publicada en el 2003, así que es una historia solida detrás de la película. Además, muchas personas reconocieron de inmediato al actor que interpreta a Edgar Allan Poe, y creo que eso opaco lo que realmente quería transmitir la película, ya que el actor Harry Melling ha interpretado a Dudley Dursley en las películas de Harry Potter. así que eso fue una especie de publicidad gratis para la película, pero opaco el sentido de la película, claro, aunque en algunas partes se vuelve un poco flojo, el final vale la pena todo.
This movie is comparable to Sherlock Homes, as there is a mystery to be solved involving the dark arts, but slowly as it unravels they realize that it is just a facade of something much worse and it is that transition where awesome things are revealed for the plot and for the viewers, I was very impressed with the ending. which actually changed the whole paradigm of the movie.
