The series of the Addams girl, begins with her in a high school taking revenge for the bullying suffered by her brother, as they are weird kids, they suffer constant harassment, so Merlina takes revenge and is expelled from high school although her parents say that no school wants them, so both parents agree that Merlina should be sent to the Nevermore Academy, a special school for outcasts, where she can live with other creatures like her, be it werewolves, vampires, mermaids, gorgons, among many other outcasts with different abilities.
Merlina does not want to study there, since her parents studied there and she does not want to be overshadowed by her shadow, so she decides to escape, but something makes her stay, and that is that in the surroundings of the Nevermore Academy and the nearby town Jericho, there has been a series of random murders by a big monster that terrorizes everyone. Merlina at first is not interested in this monster, but when she realizes that she is in the center of the hurricane she gets more and more involved, coming to discover dark challenges of the Nevermore Academy and Jericho, and also something of the past and its founder Joseph Crackstone as the Addams family is linked to all this. Merlina no quiere estudiar allí, ya que sus padres estudiaron allí y no quiere verse opacada por su sombra, así que decide escapar, pero algo hace que se quede, y es que en los alrededores de la Nevermore Academy y el pueblo cercano jericho, ha habido una serie de asesinados al azar por un gran monstruo que aterroriza a todos. Merlina en un principio no se interesa en este monstruo, pero cuando se da cuenta de que esta en el centro del huracán se involucra cada vez más, llegando a descubrir oscuros se retos de la Nevermore Academy y Jericho, y tambien algo del pasado y su fundador Joseph Crackstone ya que la familia Addams está ligada a todo esto. En este proceso de investigación vemos las distintas facetas de Merlina, ya que siente miedo, amor, ira, determinación y sobre todo esto combina muy bien con su personalidad sombría.

My first impression when I saw the Addams family was that it is the first Latino Addams family in history, since Merlina, Homer and Pugsley, are played by Latino actors, and needless to say that the acting was impeccable, especially that of Homer played by Luis Guzman.
Ahora hablemos de los personajes, que hay principales y secundarios, como personajes principales tenemos a Merlina Addams (Jenna Ortega), Tyler (Hunter Doohan), Enid (Emma Myers), Bianca la sirena (Joy Sunday), Xavier (Percy Hynes White), La Dra Kinbott (Riki Lindhome), El Sheriff (Jamie McShane), La directora (Gwendoline Christie), Marylin (la vieja Merlina - Christina Ricci) y finalmente uno de los que considero el mejor de toda la serie: Dedos (Victor Dorobantu). Mi primera impresión cuando vi a la familia Addams era que es la primera familia Addams latina de la historia, ya que Merlina, Homero y Pugsley, los interpretan actores latinos, y está de más de sir que la actuación les quedo impecable, sobre todo la de Homero interpretado por Luis Guzmán.
Another thing to highlight was Jenna Ortega's performance, it was quite creepy but real, it's not like other actors who try to be tough or serious guys on the big screen, but it looks a little forced, but Jenna is not even noticeable for a moment that it is forced, even in very emotional scenes like the death of one of the secondary characters, she doesn't even flinch and rather starts a chase and a fight. Another thing that I liked a lot or rather very much of this series was the iconic dance of Merlina, it was a combination of freaky and funny, as she tried to be her while dancing, I identified a lot with that because when I dance salsa or other musical genre, I just try to be me no matter what others say.
Otra cosa a destacar fue la misma actuación de Jenna ortega, estuvo bastante espeluznante pero real, no es como otros actores que intentan ser tipos rudos o serios en la gran pantalla, pero se ve algo forzado, Pero a Jenna no se le nota ni un momento que es forzado, incluso en escenas muy emotivas como la muerte de uno de los personajes secundarios, ella ni se inmuta y más bien comienza una persecución y una pelea. otra cosa que me gustó mucho o más bien muchísimo de esta serie fue el icónico baile de Merlina, fue una combinación Freaky y chistosa, ya que intentaba ser ella mientras bailaba, me identifique mucho con eso ya que cuando bailo salsa u otro género musical, solo intento ser yo sin importar lo que digan los demás.

One episode that I consider a bit weak was the episode where they try to clarify the past of merlina's father, I feel that it deviated a bit from the plot and lost some strength. And another episode that I consider that the scriptwriters got out of hand was the last episode, since it lost all the thriller and investigation plot and went too much to the fantasy, it's as if you went from watching Scooby Doo or CSI Las Vegas to watch Harry Potter or Fantastic animals.
Ahora en cuanto a la trama, sientes una tensión a lo largo de los 8 episodios, ya que desde el mismo comienzo te adentra a un misterio con la criatura que mata personas, y todo se vuelve aún más interesante cuando merlina descubre que ella es la clave de todo junto con una antigua profesa, así que, aunque hay algunas variaciones como cosas de estudiantes de secundaria, la emoción nunca se pierde en ningún momento. Un episodio que considero algo flojo fue el episodio donde se trata de aclarar el pasado del padre de merlina, siento que se desvió un poco de la trama y perdió algo de fuerza. Y otro episodio que considero que se le fue de las manos a los guionistas, fue el último episodio, ya que se perdió toda la trama de thriller e investigación y se fue mucho a lo fantasioso es como si pasaras de ver Scooby Doo o CSI las vegas para ver Harry Potter o los animales fantásticos.

Aunque el Soundtrack estuvo de maravilla considero que los efectos especiales estuvieron un poco sacados de los descendientes, algo flojos por ejemplo en las escenas donde sale el mostró asesino se ve muy mal, algo como del canal de SyFy, pero funcional porque lo más importante de la serie no son los efectos especiales sino la trama enfocada en merlina.

Aunque debo admitir que la actuación especial de dedos fue sumamente legendaria, nunca había visto tanto en un personaje sin decir ni una sola palabra, (bueno creo que desde la época de Chaplin) Ya que es un personaje sumamente importante en la serie, creo que al mismo nivel que merlina Addams, ya que dedos hace que toda la trama funcione bien, por ejemplo es quien vigila, quien ayuda a merlina a colarse en diferentes sitios, quien investiga cosas y quien la ayuda a escapar, además es quien comprende a la roomie de merlina Enid, y es dedos quien tiene más química con los compañeros de merlina, en fin es un personaje sumamente esencial. Los efectos especiales de este personaje me impresionaron bastante, ya que es una mano únicamente, pero son personalidad, además de las cicatrices que tiene que lo hacen más tétrico aún. y el modo en que se grabó a este personaje tambien fue algo magistral jaja.
