Expectations below the bar
A Mega Man movie should be exciting. Mega Man is awesome. It's lore has great potential when represented outside gaming boundaries. Much more so than, say, Warcraft, because that's already well covered in it's RTS and RPG games. But!
The script is being written by the unexperienced Mattson Tomlin, who only has scripts for upcoming movies Little Fish and The Batman. The guys who directed Paranormal Activity will also be responsible for presenting Mega Man.
We also have Masi Oka who interpreted time traveler Hiro Nakamura in the Heroes franchise. I like him, but as Mega Man? I don't see it. Unless he's playing Dr. Light or something.
