The X-Force superhero movie, a splinter from X-Men, has found the director and screenwriter. He is Drew Goddard who directed The Cabin in the Woods and helped write the World scenario

As reported by Ace Showbiz, a story emerged from the Deadline page stating that X-Force will highlight Deadpool and Cable as the main characters. As a result, Ryan Reynolds and Josh Brolin will certainly meet again in this movie after appearing together in Deadpool 2 next year.

However, the character of other protagonists and the players are still not mentioned at all. Earlier many had hoped the film would include the characters of X-Men movies such as Wolverine, Colossus, Psylocke, and Warpath.

Seeing the ending of Logan and X-Men: Apocalypse, Wolverine is unlikely to meet Deadpool and Cable in X-Force. Meanwhile, Deadpool 2 filming is being stopped after an incident that killed stuntwoman Joi Harris in a dangerous scene with a motorcycle last month.
