The film titled The New Mutants is currently being prepared to air next year. Ascertained, the film will be part of the X-Men superhero movie franchise with young stars in it. Uniquely, The New Mutants will have a strong element of horror, as seen in the new trailer.

20th Century Fox who developed the film adaptation of Marvel comics is intending to make The New Mutants as a trilogy like X-Men. This was conveyed by director Josh Boone to IGN.

"We handed it to Fox as a trilogy film, really all based on the longstanding work of Bill Sienkiewicz (one of New Mutants comic writers), and sort of combining things from the next edition in the 80s.This would all be a horror movie , which will have a different taste, "says Josh Boone.

"This is of course a supernatural 'rubber-reality' horror film (the characters are not aware that reality differs from their perceptions.) The next one will be a completely different horror movie.We just explore the horror genre through comic adaptation films and make each one different shades of horror movies, describing the great events we love in comics, "

During 20th Century Fox has a franchise of X-Men movies, mutant characters from Marvel comics are often packed differently from the original story. Examples of Logan are similar to cowboy movies, as well as Deadpool that mixes brute and brutal violence with comedy. Josh Boone also stated that the element of horror in the film The New Mutants comes from one of the original comics. "Our whole rhythm for this series is based on Bill Sienkiewicz which he did with Chris Claremont (The New Mutants vol.1 # 18-31, 35-38), so very much when the New Mutants became dark and unreal and more encouraging element of horror," he explains.

We are deeply inspired by the story of Demon Bear which is probably the best and most famous New Mutants story. We also depict film images such as One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Stephen King's works, and even Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors.
