This is not exactly a review, it's more like a reminder that season 2 of Golden Kamuy is out but i will talk briefly about the anime just in case you have no clue about it and because i need something to fill the space of the post! I have already done a review about the first season 4 months ago so you can check it by clicking HERE and if you like it you can reward me in this post!
A Few Words About Season 1
Season 1 at least for me came out of nowhere and already it had gathered an audience from the manga because the manga is just awesome (better than the anime). The anime is set after the Russo-Japanese war, an era that basically none talks about in manga or anime and our protagonists are a soldier that survived the war and Ainu girl.
Those two will team up to find some maps that are tattooed to the skin of some ex-inmates and are supposed to lead to a lot of buried gold. The whole plot is around those maps that many people and teams seek for their own goals and "dreams". Also there is a mystery that revolves around the origin and the person who draw these maps as well as who exactly the inmates are.
There is action, funny scenes, gore scenes and tons of mystery in this anime and the first season has a 7.71/10 rating in myanimelist. The second season is already out with 2 episodes (12 in total) and already has a rating of 7.87/10 but it's still early.
Why I Like It?
One of the main reasons i really like this anime is the whole plot. I have seen a lot of anime and i mean A LOT and this one is unique. You don't have the classic story with magic powers, harems and fantastic worlds that lure games in it. It's just a mystery story about a historic era nobody talks about. Also it talks about a certain tribe called Ainu that is and was a minority and we are lucky to get introduced to their culture,habits, language and generally their way of life and pretty accurately (the author has done a pretty good research)

What I Don't Like
I didn't like the CGI effects and some censored scenes or skipped scenes that the first season had. It wasn't that bad but if you read the manga you will understand what i mean as the gore scenes are in a whole other level in manga. Thankfully i haven't seen any of these in the first 2 episodes of season too, so far so good i can say!
