Hello guys i had some spare time and still have till the end of month so i say
Why not start another serie?
While i was checking about shows and following my 100% success rate show pick up way which is
1) Look at the photo
2) Look the abstraction
Into the Badlands catched my eye
I never watch reviews or any spoilers before i watch any show mysefl in order to form 100% my opinion and not get affected by anything else. So i started it without further delay!
Apparently it has 2 seasons, the first one aired at 2015 and has 6 episodes and the other one aired now at 2017 and it is said that will have 10 episodes. Till now only the first one is out!
The set is in a post-apocalyptic world in which somehow there are no guns and america is divided in some regions where the Barons rule over. All Barons are men and each of them has his own rules,people and forts. They all have their personal army, soldiers or else Clipers or Klipers(I dont know how they write it) that learn martial arts and how to use weapons like swords,axes etc etc. Outside the forts Badlands exist, desert and many other dangerous places where Nomads and other tribes live.

We get to follow the best Cliper named Sunny(Daniel Wu haha what a name) a cold blooded assasin that listens to his Baron Quinn( Marton Csokas) one of the most powefull and fearsome Barons around that controls the opium lands. This set is in New Orleans so the whole fort is exactly like the old slave fields with the mansion of the Baron to the little houses the workes had. The basic formation is that either you are a soldier and trained for that( only the best can) or you live like a worker in the opium land. So as i said the number 1 assasin in the first epidose riding his bike finds a couple of dead boys and later on 10 nomads that hide something he is looking for. He beats his asses and by that i mean he kills them brutally and find a young boy which can be said has a strange power and he is a co-protagonist
The story has a lot of drama,tactics and a woman who killed her Baron husband and now runs one region with inner motive to destroy the other Barons and bring peace and equality. They call her Widow. Although it has only 6 episodes in the first season a lot of things happen and i can say i didnt expect that. If i had to compare it with a movie it would be MAD MAX
WHY I LIKED IT?
The main reason is that there are no guns so every figh scenes is either with martial arts or weapons. The fight scenes are of the best i have even seen and are way to many. You never get bored as you always see new moves and new ways of killing. if you like martial art movies, series or in general martial arts i am 100% sure this show will amaze you
After i watched each and every episode i read some reviews because i havent even seen anywhere this show to be promoted!

Because i am easily bored with reviews what i got is that either you like it or not. The reviews were either very good and people were amazed by the show or they started their typical stupidity with really lame arguments. What i mean by that is that they started comparing it with other movies or they said that ''its unreal'' , '' how they dont have guns, while they got some form of technology''
THATS THE F@@ING SET
If we now name 10 movies or series we can find way to many unreal things. Take game of thrones for example which is considered one of the best one around. It has from humans to whatever tribe you want, from zombies to dragons, from magic to time paradox. Get real people and dont start the excuses. If you dont like it just say a normal reason like ''i dont like martial art ones'', ''i dont think it has plot'', ''i want more acting'' not the its unreal thing....
So you gonna see mixed reviews. In ImDb it has 8.1/10 in rotten tomatoes it has 53% on tomatometer and 83% from audience and in IGN the first episode of season 2 has 8.6 and they say they made better a lot of things! Ahh and the second season starts with a 6 months later timeline.
If i had to rate it i would give a 8.5/10 and i bet i would be a 9/10 when season 2 ends
I havent done any spoilers and i provided you with many info i think. If you seen it or will seen it tell me what think of it and i repeat the fight scenes are great! A post apocalyptic martial arts paranormal show!
