Hello my dear friends. In this morning, i feel like watch a movie. The movie that i choose to watch must be a “sour” movie because my mood is in quite a sour mood right now. This time, i will share some of my opinion about the movie i just watch this morning. The title of the movie is Case 39 .
Case 39
This movie was released in 2009. So, its an old movie but a good movie nonetheless. It doesnt feel like its out of date and we can still very much enjoy it even in 2022. The main character of this thriller movie is Emily and Lily and the story will revolve around the two of them. This movie is such a mess up movie to the point that i dont even know where should i start with.
Lily is a little girl Emily saved from her abusive parents. Her parents try to kill her, which is so extreme. So, Emily took in charge of Lily and take care of her like her own child. Things start to get weird around Emily and in the end Emily found out that it was because of Lily. Apparently, Lily is a demon-child. Then the story continue with Lily killed more people with her demonic power and Emily try to kill Lily to stop her.
First of all, I believed that they didnt show us where does this demon in a child body came from. How come a normal human pair make a birth of a demon child just like that. Are they related to cult or something? Does someone cursed them? I want to know the origin if this demon. Then, i dont understand the lack of spiritual figure in this movie since its something related to demon, a spiritual being, arent we suppose to look for solving it in spiritual way? Can a demon be killed in a human way? She looks so powerful then how cone she get easily killed by drowning a car? That doesnt make sense at all for me. My next problem about this movie are i dont get the part where Lily wants Emily because she’s a pure hearted person and she wants Emily to be a bad person, yet in the end Emily killed her so is she a bad person now? Then if she only targeting the pure hearted person like Emily then why she make the others her victim too?
So many questions and no answer for me. This sour movie truly turn my mood even more sour after watching them.
