Cambiamos el foco hacia el viajero del futuro, este se encuentra cercano a las obras de construcción e intentando encender un auto lo cual consigue con éxito, mientras se relaja en el asiento, empieza a revivir eventos del futuro, en la relación con lo que se aprecio al principio de la película, podemos observar como absolutamente todo esta destrozado y en pleno combate contra gigantes mecanizados y aeronaves que sobrevuelan la zona, El viajero al parecer esta intentando no ser descubierto por las maquinas, pasando entre los escombros junto con una compañera anónima, ambos se aproximan a uno de los gigantes y sueltan unas cargas, corriendo con la mala suerte de que la chica es descubierta por los focos de las maquinas y exterminada antes de que pudiera soltar el explosivo, afortunadamente, la carga única que soltó el viajero fue suficiente para acabar con la maquinaria que tenia completamente azotada toda la zona con sus armas láser, posteriormente, se acerca un vehículo de extracción muy icono también, que intenta sacar a al viajero de la zona de conflicto, sin embargo, estos son perseguidos por una aeronave que finalmente los impacta, volcando el vehículo, sobreviviendo al choque y al impacto, el viajero ve como se incendia el auto, despertando finalmente y empuñando su escopeta asustado, finalizando la escena.
