I think this is the 2nd mini-series I have seen, the first one was Chernobyl and I haven't seen so many, not because I don't like this kind of series with few chapters, but because I practically don't know more series of this style. But undoubtedly, despite the small number of chapters (there are only 6); I think it is one of the saddest audiovisual products I have seen recently. I Know This Is Much True is a miniseries of only 6 episodes that I have wanted to see since I saw a video on YouTube last year where they talked a little about its plot and its actors. And what caught my attention the most is that Mark Ruffalo plays two characters in this series, but due to life issues I was able to watch it until a few days ago and it is a very good series, but it is also quite sad in each and every one of its episodes.

As I mentioned, I Know This Much Is True is a series where Mark Ruffalo, known for playing the Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, plays two characters in this miniseries, twin brothers marked by family tragedies, personal and mental problems. And at the same time, they are in search and discovery of their past. The series focuses especially on one of the brothers, Dominick, who after a family loss and a divorce, his life has been in a tailspin, plus his twin brother, Thomas, has a mental problem that leads to even more tragedy throughout the lives of these characters, their friends and close family members throughout the series.

Mark Ruffalo spectacularly plays these two characters so alike, yet so different and you really feel that they are two totally different people. His performance might be one of the best so far in his entire career and you can really feel the suffering and despair in the most key moments of the series. Likewise, I have to highlight the actor who played the young versions of these two brothers, because besides the visual resemblance is quite accurate, on an acting level he is great.
Another spectacular performance in this series is undoubtedly that of Kathryn Hahn, an actress known especially for comedy and also for having been in the WandaVision series. Her role in this series is heartbreaking. Her character, as well as Dominick/Thomas, are among the characters who suffer the most in the series and one of the best in terms of acting. I was pleasantly surprised to see this actress in this series and that she did such a spectacular and heartbreaking job.
But overall, all the major characters in the series manage to do a great job and do very well with the plot throughout the 6 episodes. And as I already mentioned, this is a pretty sad series and even though I already knew a little bit the tone of what I was going to see, so I thought that knowing that, I could not feel bad or sad watching it, but it was the opposite, in some moments it made me feel pretty sad even though I knew what was coming.

Anyway, I have nothing more to say about this wonderful series, it is more than recommended and with only 6 chapters in two days you can watch it all.
