Hello to all movie lovers Welcome to my blog! This time I will be talking about a movie that was a giant in the film industry, it comes loaded with a lot of drama, comedy and romantic cinema. I am talking about Forrest Gump , released in 1994. I remember perfectly the first time I saw it, at first I found it quite interesting, since I have always been inclined to watch productions that present a scenario of the 80s and 90s, I love watching the way of dressing in particular, and everything that confers a little developed technology. Para esta ocasión estaré platicando de una película que fue un gigante en la industria del cine, la misma viene cargada de mucho drama, comedia y cinema romántico. Les estoy hablando de Forrest Gump, publicada en el año 1994. Recuerdo perfectamente la primera vez que la vi, al principio me pareció bastante interesante, ya que, desde siempre me he inclinado a visualizar producciones que presenten un escenario tipo de los años 80 y 90, me encanta observar las forma de vestir en particular, y todo lo que confiere a una tecnología poco desarrollada. De esta forma, si te interesa saber de su trama, te invito a que te quedes leyendo parte de la reseña, y a su vez, si te gusta dicha reseña y tienes deseos de verla, la puedes encontrar en la plataforma de Netflix tranquilamente. Forrest Gump is an American movie, which tells the story of Forrest, who is the main character. While he is at a bus stop, he starts telling part of his life to each person sitting next to him. At the beginning, we learn about his childhood, where he explains how he had to go through different scenes of bullying at school, especially bullying because he always wore braces and in addition to that, he had and suffered from a certain mental retardation. Later on, we learn that Forrest lived with his mother, a single mother. They had a very complicated and difficult life.

Next, we find that he was now doing military service, there he meets his great friend Benjamin Buford, who was nicknamed Bubba, Bubba loses his life in a war, we will see how Forrest while he sees him dying, he promises him that he would open a seafood restaurant that would have his name and also would give part of that money to his family, so he would make him feel happy that way. And yes, later on we see how Forrest fulfills the promise. The physical loss of his best friend, undoubtedly affects him a lot, but beyond everything fills him with strength to move forward and hold on to what he promised, and here you can imagine how he was, a very touching story.

Forrest Gump, es una película estadounidense, la cual, relata la historia de Forrest quien es el personaje principal. Este, mientras está en una parada, inicia contando parte de su vida a cada persona que se iba sentando junto a él. Al comienzo, conocemos parte de su infancia, allí explica como tuvo que atravesar diferentes escenas de bulling en la escuela, en especial, de acoso ya que siempre llevaba aparatos ortopédicos y sumado a ello, presentaba y sufría un cierto retraso mental. Más adelante, conocemos que Forrest vivía junto a su mamá, madre soltera. Tenían una vida bastante complicada y díficil.

Seguidamente, nos topamos que ahora estaba cumpliendo servicio militar, allí conoce a su gran amigo Benjamin Buford, que tenía por sobrenombre Bubba, Bubba pierde su vida en una guerra, veremos como Forrest mientras lo ve agonizando, le promete que abriría una marisqueria que tendría su nombre y asimismo le daría parte de ese dinero a su familia, por lo que, lo haría sentir feliz de esa forma. Y sí, más adelante vemos como Forrest cumple la promesa. La pérdida física de su mejor amigo, sin duda le afecta muchísimo, pero más allá de todo lo llena de fuerzas para seguir adelante y aferrarse a lo que prometió, ya aquí se podrán imaginar como estaba, una historia muy conmovedora.

Now, we come across Jenny, a protagonist who was part of Forrest's childhood and adolescence, this girl becomes Forrest's love, so later he meets her after many years, but this time she grows up as a woman who had a great sexual freedom, it should be noted that Jenny had a rather complicated life as a child because she suffered from family violence. Of course, there would be no reason to do what she did, apparently for the time of the 60's and 70's it was normal to have free love affairs. We see how Jenny runs away from him and plays with his feelings in such a horrible way, this certainly made me quite angry.

After seeing that he was rejected by his love, one day he gets up and starts running, where he crosses the United States, becoming an icon, many people admired him and followed him, he lasted too long running until he decided to stop running and go home again. Previously, Forrest had even participated in an American national team because of his great running ability. At the end of it all, he decides to look for Jenny, so, he finds the big surprise that he has a son, and Jenny had never said anything to him since he had been separated from him. Later, we will see that Jenny dies and Forrest is left with his little son also named Forrest.

Ahora bien, nos topamos con Jenny una protagonista que formó parte de la infancia y adolescencia de Forrest, esta chica se convierte en el amor de Forrest, por ello, más adelante se encuentra con ella después de muchos años, pero, esta vez crece siendo una mujer que tenía una gran libertad sexual, hay que destacar, que Jenny tuvo una vida bastante complicada cuando era niña ya que sufría de violencia familiar. Claro, no habría razón para hacer lo que hacía, al parecer para la época de los 60 y 70 era normal tener amores libres. Vemos como Jenny huye de él y juega con sus sentimientos de una forma tan horrible, esto sin duda me enojó bastante.

Después de ver que era rechazado por su amor, un día se levanta, y empieza correr, en donde, atraviesa Estados Unidos, convirtiéndose en un icono, muchas personas lo admiraban y seguían, duró demasiado tiempo corriendo hasta que decide dejar de correr e ir a su casa nuevamente. Anteriormente, Forrest hasta había participado en una selección americana por su gran habilidad de correr. Al final de todo, decide buscar a Jenny, por lo que, se encuentra con la gran sorpresa de que tiene un hijo, y pues Jenny nunca le había dicho nada ya que se había apartado de él. Después, veremos que Jenny muere y Forrest se queda con su pequeño hijo también llamado Forrest.

Finalmente, es una película de la vieja escuela que merece ser vista, dejará una gran reflexión tu vida; llorarás, te llenarás de rabia e impotencia por algunas escenas, te reirás muchísimo, pero más allá de todo ello el mensaje que te dejará es maravilloso. Por acá, les comparto una de las tantas frases que marcó muchísimo en la producción, "Mi madre decía que tienes que dejar atrás el pasado antes de seguir adelante". Por último, en base a mi experiencia le doy una puntuación de 5/5 ¡Gracias por llegar hasta aquí aficionado del cine!
