Dynasty || Movie Review || Wealth, Family Drama, Love, Humor, And Entertainment All In One Pack

Review by @funshee · 1444d · of Dynasty

Before I get started I must warn you, that this movie is highly addictive. Once you start watching is very likely to be difficult for you to stop.

A week ago I came across it on my movie site, I was kind of bored of course, and needed just a little distraction with any nice series I can find.

At first, I was hesitant to start watching it once I noticed it is up for five seasons, but my inner voice just said I should try out a few episodes and ditch it if it is boring or not what I wanted.

Remembering that thought now, I'm just glad I yield to that inner voice because this turned out to be one of the best series I have seen in a while and to even think that the production started way back in 2017 surprise me to why I haven't come across it or heard about it all this while. Just so you know, I'm a "good movie" freaks

Anyways, you know what they say, "it is better late than never". I still can't believe I finished watching the whole five seasons just in one week though. To tell you how hooked I was, since I started it was so hard to stop as each episode left me asking for more. Now, let's get down to business, shall we?

Dynasty

Dynasty is a television drama series about two American wealthy families who fight to keep their family business empire expanding. The production started back in 2017-2022 with five seasons. It is based on the original 1980s prime-time soap opera of the same name.

Developed by Josh Schwartz, Stephanie and produced by Jeffrey Downer Jenna Richman Kevin A. Garnett

Some of My favorite casts

Elizabeth Gillies as Fallon Carrington

She is the firstborn of the Carrington, Fallon Carrington is whom you will call a spoiled brat, but she is confident, business savvy, and works her ass off to get whatever she wants which includes finding love, without waiting for it to be handed over to her. As a business person, this is what I love most about her, her confidence is infectious.

Nathalie Kelley as Cristal Flores Carrington

A wife to Blake Carrington, who happens to be running away from her past. I love her beautiful soul and humor. She knows what it takes to be married into a wealthy family and family is everything to her.

Alan Dale as Joseph Anders

The Carrington's Estate manager with a lot on his sleeve on how to be relevant and continue to keep the show running. He will do whatever it takes to protect those he loves and his love for the Carringtons is admirable.

My Stakes on this series

The series is very entertaining, full of humor and business talks. So many interesting family dramas to keep you on the edge of your seat.

The producers did a great job with the whole production casting crew down to the fashion sense, I will rate this show 9/10. I left one out of my rating because of the way Nathalie Kelley was replaced on the show without finding someone as close to what she is as I had a hard time to new Crital Carrington. Aside from this, the series was enjoyable from the beginning to the end.

Lesson Learnt

This show tells us that family is everything no matter what happens, at the end the family we chose is all that matters. And this does not just mean being related by blood, blood or no blood the people we choose to protect and love are our true family.

If you have seen this series, I will love to hear your thoughts about it in the comment section. Feel free to let us roll 🤗.
