As a crypto enthusiast, I love the finance industry movie but my husband even loves them more, he will mostly immense some of our evening time watching couples of them.
He had recommended some in the past which I enjoyed a lot. So, sometimes ago during one of our evening time, he kept on saying he had likes us to watch Industry I don't even hesitate before giving in to him I thought I will enjoy it just like some finance-related film we have seen before which I do learn one or two lessons from. But the result of this particular one ended up making me fall asleep before we could even get a grasp of the whole show.
It was funny you know as it was the habit of my husband to fall asleep while watching movies but this one did a really hard one on me.

Is this movie so boring to me
I haven't seen something that made me wants to just close my eye so badly and doze off into the dreamland. I love finance films, yes, but the actors in this one where not just giving me any reason to enjoy myself one bit. Couples with pointless storylines.
How
Their accents were so horrible and boring to my ears no matter how much I try to flow along and enjoy them a bit..like why is it so hard for them to speak up and clear. Even when my husband tried so much to convince me to just try and follow the storyline it was like torture.
Before he knew what was going on, I managed to finish episode one with him, and into the middle of episode two I was already dozing off.
Curiously, the following day I went online to read some reviews and a lot of people enjoy watching it. You know what they said everything is not for everyone and that is okay.
I'm the kind that finds something to enjoy in a movie no matter what but this particular one is just off my table. And I have vowed not to get back at in again.
If you don't mind the accent which you will have to put most of your energy into before you can get what they were saying, and you love finance industry movies you might be able to watch it if not you might just take it as your sleeping pills as I did hahaha.
About Industry
They are Young finance graduates who venture out into the cut-throat competitive world to get a job during the recession times that followed as a result of the 2008 financial crisis.
It is an HBO And BBC Network drama, created by Mickey Down and Konrad Kay. It consists of two seasons with 15 episodes. Originally released in November 2020 till the present.
I was rooting for these three characters when I first watched the official trailer.
Ken Leung as
Eric
Eric is the head of the London investment bank Pierpoint & Co, I so much tried to get hang of his character and get along with him but I guess I will never find out.
Marisa Abela as
Yasmin Yazdani
Myha'la Herrold
As Harper Stern
The roles of Harper and Yazdani look very promising but their accent and the noise in the whole production were just a great turn-off for me.
This review is not for me to criticize their work as I know a lot of people might find it very interesting to watch but I'm just talking about a movie that made me fall asleep from #cinetv contest and you are more than welcome to join in the fun to share yours.
