Los avances de la tecnología han sido de vital importancia no solamente en términos de aquellos recursos usados para grabar las películas donde los efectos especiales, pues van adquirir especial relevancia dependiendo de cuál será el enfoque que el directos quiera realizar, sino también en razón de las tramas argumentativas que se desarrollarán dentro de las mismas, las cuales usan situaciones generadas a partir de las herramientas que a la luz de una sociedad que se desenvuelve alrededor de la tecnología ha hecho de esta uno de los elementos centrales, revolucionando cada uno de los espacios de la cotidianidad, uno de ellos, las relaciones interpersonales. Esta película llamada ‘Carne fresca’ resulta atractiva por cómo realiza su aproximación al terror a partir de una situación que para muchos supone algo normal de la vida, dígase las citas, añadiéndole una característica algo excéntrica que tiñe el argumento de turbio.

This film called 'Fresh' is attractive for its approach to horror based on a situation that for many is a normal part of life, namely dating, adding a somewhat eccentric feature that tinges the plot of murky.
Ahora, el argumento en principio no es complicado, tenemos a una mujer joven llamada Noa que se encuentra completamente decepcionada de cómo se desarrollan las citas a través de las redes sociales conociendo personas en línea, no le ha ido bien en el amor en ese sentido, por lo que cuando conoce a Steve, un hombre que se le aparece por casualidad en un supermercado, piensa que es la oportunidad perfecta de conocer a alguien sin que el mundo virtual tenga algo que ver. En este sentido pienso que la cinematografía se encarga de mostrarnos una realidad a la que no se le presta la debida atención, creo que desde el inicio de esta era tecnológica se nos ha enseñado que hay que tener cuidado con quién conocemos en línea puesto que no los conocemos, sus intenciones son un misterio para nosotros… ¿pero qué tan diferente es conocer a alguien extraño en persona? Pese a que la presencia física de una persona puede generar cierta sensación de falsa seguridad, tampoco conocemos a esa persona.

In this sense I think that cinematography is in charge of showing us a reality that is not given due attention, I think that since the beginning of this technological era we have been taught that we have to be careful with who we meet online since we don't know them, their intentions are a mystery to us... but how different is it to meet a stranger in person? Although a person's physical presence may create a sense of false security, we don't know that person either.
En realidad no es que se le pueda reprochar demasiado pues la verdad es que todos en algún momento fuimos extraños, es una barrera que siempre va a existir, sin embargo, acá se presenta una de las posibilidades que toda persona teme al conocer a alguien nuevo y es que esa persona no sea quien verdaderamente se piensa que es, sobre todo cuando tienes intenciones románticas con esta, en este sentido no está lejos de algunos casos que se han presentado en la vida real para desgracia de aquellas mujeres que en paz descansen, terminaron siendo víctimas de hombres que mintieron al hacerse pasar por corderos cuando eran lobos hambrientos, y digo mujeres porque aquí la protagonista es una mujer, estoy consciente de que aunque en menor porcentaje esto se puede dar de manera inversa. Debo decir, sin embargo, que la narrativa es clara sobre la perspectiva que pretende mostrar, nada amable hacia los hombres, así que quizás no le encante demasiado al público masculino.

I must say, however, that the narrative is clear about the perspective it intends to show, not at all kind to men, so it may not appeal too much to the male audience.
Aunque se encaje dentro del género de terror, usa también los recursos del género de la comedia romántica durante cierto tiempo de la cinematografía relevantes aunque no lo parezcan pues son parte del desarrollo de la narrativa y añaden impacto, en general considero que la progresión de los eventos estuvo lograda. Debería de destacar que la directora de esta cinematografía, Mimi Cave, debuta de la mano de la referida película, por lo que le añade mayor impresión al resultado con su calidad pese a no salirse demasiado de lo esperado, pero visualmente se muestra preciosa a la mirada de los espectadores y sabe sacarle el máximo provecho a las situaciones para destacar lo que pretende transmitirse en la escena. La guionista Lauryn Kahn se destaca al lograr su historia inmersa en diversos géneros sin que se perciba fragmentada, la cohesión junto a la coherencia del todo me parece genial, puede que los destellos de comedia negra pues se hubiesen logrado de una mejor manera pero no es grave.
Although it fits within the horror genre, it also uses the resources of the romantic comedy genre during a certain time of the cinematography relevant although they do not seem so because they are part of the development of the narrative and add impact, in general I consider that the progression of events was achieved. It should be noted that the director of this cinematography, Mimi Cave, debuts with this film, so it adds more impression to the result with its quality despite not going too far from what is expected, but visually it is beautiful to the eye of the viewers and knows how to make the most of the situations to highlight what is intended to be conveyed in the scene. The screenwriter Lauryn Kahn stands out by achieving her story immersed in various genres without being perceived fragmented, the cohesion along with the coherence of the whole seems great to me, maybe the flashes of black comedy could have been achieved in a better way but it is not serious.
Para aquellos que conocen al actor Sebastian Stan por haber interpretado al personaje de Bucky Barnes en películas de Marvel Studios, les resultará un tanto extraño probablemente verlo en esta película haciendo el papel de Steve pues a decir verdad es un cambio radical, hace un excelente trabajo interpretando al personaje, logrando conseguir esa sensación de locura encantadora, aunque he leído comentarios y al parecer no a todos les ha convencido al considerar que no dio miedo en absoluto pero a mi parecer sí logra generar algunos escalofríos. Respecto al trabajo de la actriz Daisy Edgar-Jones, quien interpreta a Noa, ¿qué podría decir? De acuerdo con la variedad que se muestra en la cinematografía alrededor de las situaciones en donde se encuentra esta aparente ingenuo personaje, cumple con su cometido de darle vida a una mujer joven a la cual engañaron pero que de cualquier manera se sobrepone a ello.
For those who know the actor Sebastian Stan for having played the character of Bucky Barnes in Marvel Studios movies, it will probably be a little strange to see him in this movie playing the role of Steve because to tell the truth it is a radical change, he does an excellent job playing the character, managing to get that feeling of charming madness, although I have read comments and apparently not everyone has been convinced by considering that it was not scary at all but in my opinion it does manage to generate some chills. Regarding the work of actress Daisy Edgar-Jones, who plays Noa, what could I say? According to the variety shown in the cinematography around the situations in which this seemingly naive character finds herself, she fulfills her task of giving life to a young woman who was deceived but overcomes it anyway.
Debo admitir que la película me gustó, la disfruté sobre todo haciendo énfasis en que esta es la representación de películas del género ligeros donde a la vista está que siguen determinadas características propias del terror y suspenso que se consiguen usualmente, con un resultado no está nada mal, mostrando además algo de su identidad a través de la inclusión de otros elementos como la comedia románticas que a mí me resultó interesante. Hago este comentario porque es normal encontrarse con estos intentos de innovación dentro del género que aunque se queden algo cortos pues resulta en una película completa bien ensamblada muy agradable ante el espectador que aprecia el cine para pasar el rato. Sin duda alguna apuntaré varios nombres involucrados en esta hermosa producción para ver en qué nuevos proyectos participan en el futuro, tengo esta corazonada de que van a seguir creando películas con esta calidad, y me encantaría ver la evolución de este tipo de películas que están del lado comercial.
I must admit that I liked the film, I enjoyed it especially emphasizing that this is the representation of light genre films where it is obvious that they follow certain characteristics of horror and suspense that are usually achieved, with a result that is not bad at all, also showing some of its identity through the inclusion of other elements such as romantic comedy that I found interesting. I make this comment because it is normal to find these attempts at innovation within the genre that even if they fall somewhat short, they result in a complete film well assembled and very pleasant for the viewer who appreciates movies to pass the time. Without a doubt I will write down several names involved in this beautiful production to see what new projects they participate in the future, I have this hunch that they will continue to create films with this quality, and I would love to see the evolution of this type of films that are on the commercial side.
