Good Morning Hive friends! It's Friday, and that means it’s #NinetiesFriday!

Edit ⬇️ This is wild! I posted this a few hours ago! And didn’t even know this! ⬇️ The album I’m talking about came out on today’s date in 1994! I didn’t even realize that until I got a promotion email selling a reissue just now! Man that’s wild! What are the odds!

Whatever you find yourself wanting to post about is all good! It just has to be Nineties! I’m thinking my posts will be mostly Nineties music talk or album reviews but also movies or TV talk or reviews. Basically no rules, just gotta be Nineties & use the tag #NinetiesFriday

I’m hoping this builds into something similar to ThreeTuneTuesday where we have many people involved! But I gotta start with myself so here we go! Similar to TTT, I will give a basic Income Unit to a post every week. If it’s just me and one other person to start, that's cool but Eventually I hope more will get involved and we can grow it.

Some ideas are music, movies, television, sports, or really anything Nineties related. I assume movie or tv or music topic reviews or talk will be most common, but you could also talk a sports memory or something else. Think the Pop Culture of the times, but it would be great to hear about little known and interesting bands or entertainment items. Don’t forget to use tag #NinetiesFriday

Then if you still have some free time! Here’s 3 tracks from the follow up record and only other nineties release Weezer had (Pinkerton,1996) it’s a very different vibes. I like it but it was very different sound that many didn’t take well. Then decades later it’s become a favorite to many fans!

For whatever reason 1996 follow up bombed commercially. That said I believe a 1998 or 1999 third try would have put them back in the top. Unfortunately they took a 5 year break and didn’t release anything until 2001.
