Como dato curioso comenzare esta publicación diciendo que este cortometraje fue nominado a los premios Oscar y ese mismo año que obtuvo su nominación también gano. Eso probablemente debería ser razón mas que suficiente para verlo, quizás por simple curiosidad, pero mas halla de eso déjenme decirles que este cortometrajes es hermoso.
As a curious fact I will begin this publication by saying that this short film was nominated for an Oscar award and that same year it was nominated it also won. That should probably be more than enough reason to watch it, maybe just out of curiosity, but beyond that let me tell you that this short film is beautiful.
Como podrán darse cuenta aparte de contar con una animación muy interesante, la historia en si misma grita amor! en todos los sentimos el amor, por la familia el amor de pareja y sobre todo el amor propio.
As you can see, apart from having a very interesting animation, the story itself screams love! In all of us we feel love, for our family, for our partner's love and above all for our own love.
Aunque evidentemente hablando de amor propio el mensaje principal es con respecto al cabello rizado y como muchas personas y entre ellas me incluyo a lo largo de nuestra vida y niñez hemos sentido un rechazo rotundo hacia el mismo, odiando así sin querer y sin tenerlo plenamente consciente una parte de nuestro ser.
Although obviously talking about self-love, the main message is about curly hair and how many people, including myself, throughout our lives and childhood have felt a resounding rejection towards it, hating it unintentionally and without being fully aware of it, a part of our being.
